Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat is perfectly located adjacent Flinders Chase National Park, in close proximity to major attractions and discreetly nestled amongst 113 acres of pristine natural bushland.

A unique mix of eco-friendly features, exclusive guest facilities, comfortable accommodation, superb licensed restaurant, owner hosted personalised service, friendly wildlife and tranquil wilderness setting combine to provide an unforgettable Kangaroo Island accommodation experience.

All rooms face a central courtyard in which wallabies congregate in the early evening. As do possums, which are more of an acquired taste. The retreat is large enough to have its own walking trail covering about three kilometers.

Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat caters all in-house guests exclusively and serves breakfast and dinner for 7 days.

The restaurant is located in the southern wing of the courtyard and offers indoor or alfresco dining overlooking an area where Wallabies frequently graze in the evening. The dinner menu offers a selection of local produce with an international influence, while the bar stocks a large selection of local wines to accompany your meal.

A prior arrangement will be required for guests with special meal requirements. The restaurant will endeavor to cater for a specific needs. Child meals are available on request.

While the restaurant does not open for lunch, however packed lunches are available for guests wanting to head out for a day of exploring.

Chase Cafe located near by and just inside the National Park is another option for lunch.
