Fantastic! The check-in was friendly and easy. The room was large and very nice. The indoor water park is outstanding and included in the cost of the room!! Our children loved it. The indoor theme park is pretty good, but costs extra and the lines were long. The free children's play and climbing area was great for our 4 & 5 year old.

The hotel was beautiful but.. to start we had a room by the outdoor water park right by the interstate, all night long we could hear the traffic like we were outside! We paid over $400 for our room, that is not right!!!! There is no sound dampening whatsoever! At 2am none of us could sleep so I walked down to the front desk, I told the person "None of us can sleep can you switch our room?" He told me "No we are booked, let me ask my manager" He stayed in the back room for 15 minutes finally came back out and said "No there is nothing my manager can do either we can give you free earplugs?" I told him that's not good enough so he stated "Well have a great night!" I had never been so mad! In the mourning I complained again and the manager I got didn't really listen and just said sorry. At the bowling alley we had to wait for 15 minutes while the associate was on a personal phone call. I have called and tried complaining about this for a week but no one will return a call. I keep getting put through to voice mails. I have been through 3 managers and no one will call me back just to talk. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! Super 8 is even so much better then Kalahari for service!!!

My husband, sister and future brother in law stayed here recently. We were originally booked at another motel and moved here for the last night of the trip. We were sad to leave. There is so much to do just at the resort. Everything is under one roof. You get water park tickets with the room, so it saves you a lot of money. I would definately recommend this resort. It was the ticket.

i was there with my children.It was very comfortable stay.staff was very courteous.i would recommend every one to stay there. it is in the middle of all the attractions.

Back for the 3rd straight year, and again, the Kalahari didn't disappoint! I am happy to report this year, we stayed in a first floor family suite, close to the lobby, and the weather was great! After last year's trip, I reported that the Kalahari did not provide free wireless internet, but this year, they have added it for no cost if you have your laptop with you - So, GREAT JOB, Kalahari! The 2 new outdoor waterslides looked really cool this year, although I didn't partake in that one, my daughter did, and liked it alot. Not much else to report than in previous years, other than, you will spend a good chunk of money here, but that is to be expected at a large resort like this one. Those who complain about the $$ and some noise - what do you expect from a large resort that's built for kids? Let's just say, you get what you pay for, and if you want something for nothing, that is what you will get..if that is the case, then stay down the road at the HORRIFIC AND DIRTY DAYS INN...trust me, I have been there, and I wouldn't ever stay there again! If you are going to the Dells, pay the extra money and stay at a resort like the Kalahari, where you don't ever have to leave if you don't want to! Definitely worth it! Kalahari is first class! We will be back in July 2008 for more, and I can hardly wait!
