Just in town for the night for concert. Hotel was walking distance to concert. Floor was filthy throughout the hotel. Door to room would not close properly. Furniture old and worn. Beds were comfortable with clean linen. Balcony was very spacious with patio furniture. Only two tiny bars of soap and one shampoo. Only vending machine was in pool area which is locked at night, although a very nice security guard let me in to get snacks. New/clean carpet and storage of linen carts would make a huge difference.

The Kahler Inn & Suites is located across the street from the Mayo Methodist Hospital, from which all of the Mayo buildings can be accessed from. If an extended stay is required, you have the ability to maneuver through the buildings to restaurants, shops and Mayo museums between appointments. The Kahler Inn & Suites provides a very nice complimentary continental breakfast every morning. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are comfortable and not cramped and parking is free.

Hotel is located across the street from the Mayo Clinic. The pillows were very hard. Although we had a non-smoking room, the stench of smoke overwhlems you when you step off the elevator.

Excellent location. Room decor. Great place, excellent staff. Rooms were clean and just enough room. The decoration in the rooms were quite tacky, but if you can bear terrible pictures on the wall its a great place to stay a night.

The room had a smell in it when you first walked in. After the air conditioner ran for a while, it seemed to let up. However, the second morning, the maid turned off the air and the smell came back until we got the air running again. It almost seemed like someone had cleaned the rug and that it was still damp. Other than that, everything was excellent.

In close proximity to Mayo clinic - connected to it. Waiting for elevators - too busy and not enough elevators. Moderate. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Big on amenities, which was very nice. Staff (with one exception) very helpful, friendly, and saw to any needs we had.

The friendly staff and location. There seemed to be a secret to working coffee pot/dryer. Since my visit was for medical purposes, I would recommend this hotel. The access to the Mayo Clinic was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. The young staff was very friendly.

It was a convenient location because it was attached by subway to Mayo Clinic. The staff didn't tell us that there was a free breakfast, pool was broken. No fridge or microwave in rooms. I could easily overlook anything that wasn't the greatest about this hotel because I didn't have to ever go outside when it was below zero to get to the Mayo Clinic.

The price and location, overall quality. The breakfast wasn't great but it was fine. I enjoyed the location and ambiance of this hotel. The Caribou Coffee in the lobby area is an added bonus. Overall, completely satisfying but not a hotel for someone seeking frills.

Was close to Mayo facility in which I had appointments the next day. Our room still had garbage on the floor and the water was backing up in the shower with dirt in it. Overall, the hotel was ok, except for the above. The beds were comfortable and it was close to my appointments the next day so didn't have to get up so early. Wish breakfast were offered a half hour earlier to accommodate people with 7:00 appointments at Mayo. I had to be there at 6:45 so was unable to eat before going as they didn't open breadfast until after 6:30. I waited until 6:30 and then had to leave.

It was clean and there was a Caribou Coffee right downstairs. We have a larger truck and parking was a hassle it was free but it was very tight spaced. The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. There are not many eating places to choose from in the area. Jimmy Johns is downstairs but for a good quality meal at a good price you won't find it in the area. We liked the hotel the only thing we didn't like was there was sick people everywhere. We have a larger truck and parking was a bit of a hassle it was free which we were thankful for however it was really hard to get into the ramp there was some construction and a lot of tight turns so for a larger truck it was a little difficult. All in all I would recommend the hotel don't know if I would stay there again just because of all the sick people.

It was convienient to my doctor's appointments. It had 2 beds, was next to the hospital and served a continental breakfast. You could relax in the pool & hottub. Also had parking available.

Not a whole lot. Parking, old rooms, breakfast room was filthy, very small pool. The front desk people were very friendly but the motel is very out dated. There were only two small parking lots and they were always full. You have to park in a parking ramp across the street. The breakfast the proved was in a small room and was very dirty. We would not return to this motel.
