What are your breakfast options?

Generally, we pre-stock breakfast items such as coffee(freshly picked, roasted and ground on the nearby plantation), tea, milk, fresh fruit and homemade banana bread. We add juices and yogurts if requested too.

O Luina specializes in custom vacations so we alter this basic model in many ways by adding pre-stocked items as requested. We charge pretty much the cost of items. Breakfast is catered daily and depends on what is requested.

The best breakfast restaurant on the island is just a few miles downhill from our location.

What transport is available to get around?

There are only two options which are taxi service or car rental.

What can I do nearby?

Many walkers and joggers who like to workout enjoy the scenic area by the Longhouse. We are centrally located so all the activities are nearby. Beaches (we provide all the beach gear plus snorkeling gear) are six to seven miles away with snorkeling, scuba, surf lessons. We also provide two buggie boards and a surfboard.

One of the best beaches here is Mahalepu (15 minutes drive). Polihale State Park is a 35 minute scenic drive towards west.

Kukui'ula Village has some of the best island restaurants and leading Hawaii chefs. Shopping is six and a half miles away. Spouting Horn is minutes from Kukui'ula Village. Every Wednesday, there is a culinary market at the village with chef demonstrations. Art walks start Thursdays there. There is often live music at the village at night.

Hanapape town that already has Art Walk every Friday is 10 minutes away.

Helicopter and boating tours depart from Eleele which is 10 minutes away.

Waimea Canyon - Kokee State Park are not too far. The foot of the hill and the beginning of the scenic drive is 25 minutes away.

Kauai is pretty quiet at night but we are only seven miles from all the resorts so there are bars, music, and other restaurants.

We sometime organize guitar players for our guests. At the lanai, we have a great spa team, and chef comes over to prepare dinner. There is satellite TV too.

We do have Wi-Fi and it is only one user dedicated network.
