Very good hotel, food in hotel expensive, staff very helpful.

This a quite reasonably priced hotel with modern, comfortable rooms. It´s location at Furnival Square is quite close to city center and also to the railway station, although its too far to walk, if there is some more heavy luggage to carry. The area used not to be Sheffield´s most fashionable corner close to the city center, but there is quite some redevelopment going on, and it all may look nicer in the future. Also it is quite difficult for someone to pick you up at the hotel, since there is to a drop-off and pick-up space in front of the hotel, but only the bay of a bus stop. Eyre Street is quite a busy street, and for those preferring to sleep with open windows the rooms to the front may be a bit to noisy, but there are also rooms to the back, which might be more quiet.

Jury's InnWe enjoyed our stay here. The Hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff were excellent. The one thing that could be highlighted more is 'the best place to park. The car park immediately next to the Hotel is exepensive and not very secure, the multi-storey recommended by the Hotel is much better.

Overnight stayOverall good value, excellent breakfast. nice quiet room, downside 10 minute wait in reception while receptionist on phone, also we did not know of no car parking facilities, had to pay £4 per day.Big draft from room windows even with curtains drawn.

Excellent Hotel friendly helpful staffI frequently travel around the world and must say that this hotel was a match at least for any I have stayed in and better than most. Only one small problem being car parking think staff should remember to warn that the validation of token is only a discount and not full payment.Thank you for the stay.

Jury's Inn SheffieldWe were very pleased with this hotel once we arrived - much better quality than where we normally stay. We had bar food and breakfast, both quite good value (with the exception of the one desert we had). Room was very nice and a good nights sleep was had despite being in a city centre location

Good value, but the room was VERY small for a familyWhen we booked, we specified a family room for four, but they heard that it was for three, hence a room for three and we had to talk them into adding a zed bed underneath the window. Other than this, at £49 it was great value and a good location.

Lovely clean and fresh hotelWe stayed here to see a gig at the City Hall which was 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel was great, lovely clean air conditioned room and very well appointed with 22in LCD TV.My only complaint would be the price of drinks at the bar. A pint and a G&T were £8.00.All in all though, lovely place and for £49.00 would definately stay again.Reduced rate parking across the road at the Moor Car Park, we clocked 19 hours and it was £6.80.

Excellent value accommodation.Felt our room was a little crampt around the bed area, with the table and chair, stubbed my toes a few times!!Bathroom and rest of the bedroom was excellent.Food very good, excellent selection at breakfast ( the only meal we had)Great location for visiting Sheffield, 5 mins walk to the centre.

Weekend stay at Jury'sAfter searching through numerous hotels and checking reviews we decided on the Jury's inn.We travelled by train which is less than a 10 minute easy walk. The hotel staff were very friendly and the decor is very pleasing.THe room Like the rest of the Hotel was clean and well decorated. Flat screen TV with Plenty of channels and a small but nice bathroom.Walking into the town centre is a breeze. Again 5 minutes gets you to the shops and a further 5 minutes into the centre (City Hall for those wanting to see a gig).THe only issue I had was the price of the beer in the bar, but the majority of hotel beer prices are high. Doesnt matter when you have a place like Sheffield with loads of places to drink and eat.The breakfast we had was incliusive of the price but seperatly was £7.50. It was buffet style and really great plenty to eat. This is a hotel I will use again and highly recommend it

Just what we neededWe needed an ovenight stay to help our son move house. This is just what you expect - reservation made and our arrival expected, no waiting at check in, clear accurate information about parking, exceptionally clean room, modern and attractive. Friendly and helpful staff - his hotel does what it says - and no hidden costs. And they've taken note of customer feedback - the breakfast is £7.50 now, for as much as you can eat - every bit as good as other hotels at twice the price.

the hotel was easy to find and was 10 minutes from the train station, the room was spotless and well presented and i like the red and white decor, the air conditioning was good and the breakfast was good and well worth the money, and you could eat as much as you can. the staff was friendly and pleasant and was close to local bars and shopping .

Our stay at Jurys Inn SheffieldA very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. One qibble though- we did not find out until the end of our stay that a continental breakfast was half the price of a full English. One of us had paid the full price for breakfast despite having a Continental one for two mornings . The differernce in price could have been made clearer.
