Reasonable hotel excellent priceHave stayed at Jurys Inn Nottingham before with work and it was good value for money. Good city centre location and helfpul reception staff. Car park is a five minute walk away and is chargeable. Room clean and functional

Small roomHave only stayed here and Travelodge in Nottingham and Jury's Inn room was smaller, however the only fault. Room was otherwise perfect and slept well despite party groups staying in the hotel also.

Nice, clean hotel, conviniently located - but the staff left a lot to be desired!the hotel itself was really nice. Very clean and more upmarket than the average travelodge. My main concern would be the staff - who were quite young and seemed a little inexperienced.Particularly the duty manager who responded to our complaint that our television didn't work. He came in and fiddled with the wire before annonucing 'do we need a tv?' We said yes - he then advise it could be dangerous as it was - so would get his operations manager to come and have a look. We never some him.

Close to concert arena but not great for a perfect night out at a gigWe booked this hotel to attend a concert and wanted to eat prior to the gig. Unfortunately as the concert started at 19:30 and the restaurant only opened at 18:00 it was too late to really enjoy a meal and not worry that you may be late for the concert. Most of the restaurants around the arena understand this and open between 17:00-17:30 to allow a nice relaxed meal before a concert, and they were closer than the hotel...So as to food who knows, we would have liked to try. We also got the disabled room which is fie if you like to bend down to the sink and sit on a high throne. Not for us. The worst thing as with most of these style of hotels is that you cannot get a proper drink in the bar. Amongst the shiney fonts not one was dedicated to a real ale and there was not even a decent bottle conditioned ale behind the bar. Come on Jury's we don't all like lager and you have no excuse not to cater for all your clients when there are so many bottle conditioned ales available these days which saves the necessity to keep a barrel on. Ended up with a Guinness which the barman didn't know how to pour.... Think it was about 80% of a pint if you ignored the head on it...sigh

An expensive Weekend for nothing more than travel in standardsWe needed a hotel for a very close friends wedding, most otheres were booked or far too expensive, Jurys Inn looked good in principle for what we were paying, although a 3 night stay here cost quite a bit, we were expecting....a bed that did not move away from the wall as soon as you sat on it, (pillows slipping down behind your head when you turned over in the night was not good!) a car park, (paying an extra £30 to park the car, in the only car park that is close enough, was certainly not what i expected) and when ordering food, it was missing half of the bits that was described on the menu, and we were still charged full price!

Accommodation great, value great but breakfast appallingEverything great except for breakfast which was appalling. I complained and was not asked to pay for it in the end, but that wasn't the point. I would have had a full english but there were no eggs available, the bacon was not cooked properly and was piled up high, lots of uncooked white fat, undercooked meat glistening. The presentation was appalling so I chose continental. No selection of cheeses. Fruit looked like someone had been trampling all over it. No choice of bread only brown thin floppy bread that didn't toast properly and machine coffee that tasted ok but not great. The refund is neither here nor there, i'm a business traveller. Wanted breakfast.

Value for MoneyAn adequate base for two nights whilst in Nottingham for a sporting event. Room was clean and comfortable although the towels were a bit on the thin side! Noisy neighbours spoilt the first night with thier late night activities! Buffet breakfast was average but fresh provisions were brought out and cutlery was found eventually!Be warned wardens are quick to hand out parking tickets so no chance of a lie in as metre needs feeding. For a place to crash aftera busy day out it is a convenient comfortable base.

More expensive than it should beWe didn't realise that the car park was a 5-min walk (or mini-bus ride from the hotel) and cost £11 for 24hrs. Plus breakfasts not included, so our £59 night ended up costing £90. Next time we'll stay at the Premier Inn accross the road! Nice hotel and great location for the bars next to the canal, but too many hidden extras.

Inn Keeping with the cityVery convenient location, next to the train station. Ideal if you're travelling from the airport by Skylink. Bus stop just outside train station. Hotel a short walk down Station St. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived early on Sat morning and lady at Reception said, that our room would be ready in five mins. That was fantastic as I had just travelled from the airport having been up early that morning. It meant that we could drop our bags and have a rest before heading out to the shops.Food very good also. We will definitely come back and stay.Andrew Speirs

I would have liked breakfast to have been included in my price for the stay. I thought the price of the breakfast being £10 each on top of the room was very expensive! But otherwise a lovely stay, lovely accomodation and an excellent room. I particular thank you for putting us on a higher floor in the hotel away from the hen and stag parties, very thoughtful, thank you.

My only complaint about this hotel would be that we were unable to get room service, we arrived back at the hotel at 9pm Saturday evening and were told that there was no chef available, we were instead given take away menus for a local pizza place!

Good budget accommodationWe paid £49 per room without breakfast. Although the bar was noisy when we arrived, we were not disturbed in any way during the night. The room was very hot and the air conditioning did not seem to cool it down enough. However, we were very comfortable. I had a coffee in the restaurant in the morning and decided to give breakfast a miss as it did not look great and certainly was not worth £10 each. It was slightly out of the centre but was only a short walk to local restaurants. All in all, despite a few niggles, it was great value for money
