A nice quite, clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Close to Central Station and Metro. Just a short walk down to the Quayside with all its different bridges. The only downside is the shabby rundown road you have to use to get there, being a lone female I wouldn't want to walk that way in the dark. If I am sent to Newcastle again, I would stay at this hotel.

stay clearIf ur on a stag night or hen party and like to run around hotels like a child, slamming doors and screaming all through the night then you'll love this place. If you are a mature adult who likes to sleep at night, stay clear. This hotel has been DESIGNED for tacky stag/hen visitors only. The staff are local who have no understanding of the term 'professionalism' or how to deal with respectible paying customers - clearly because they are so used to the usual 18-30 holiday jeuviniles who swarm the hotel.

Very helpful / friendly staff - extra towels in minutes to room.Very difficult to locate by road - not on our satnav.High quality clean - except hairline crack in basin / regular shower head sterilization and descale would add value to well being

Not fantastic or exciting but value for money & I'd stay again. Good central location

Adequate and convenient for the city centre. Ok at discounted price, but wouldn't pay full price.Minor faults in the bathroom, but one ( blown bulb) was replaced without asking, which was good. The breakfast price has been reduced to £7.50 but was still unimpressive, and there are better ones available locally.

Booking Mix UpUpon arrival Jury's claimed our reservation was made for 1 person only when I had explicitly reserved a triple bedded room to sleep a party of 3. After pretty much forcing Jury's to contact laterooms the reservation detail was sorted out - we were then offered a room on 'the hen & stag' floor (yet we were obviously not a group of hens) before being moved to a more suitable quieter room on the 7th floor. The room was clean, comfortable & good value but the reservation/check in experience would put us off staying at Jury's again.

Good hotel in central locationGood hotel ideally situated for exploring city centre. Comfortable room and good braekfast menu. Try to get breakfast included in room rate to get best value for money. Only down side is parking is in multi-storey car park accross the street. Cost me £10 to park overnight. Would go back again.

Clean, tidy, polite & helpful staffWell located and the hotel looks impressive at first sight. Helpful staff who were also having to deal with a rowdy party who had arrived for a stag night.First room was not suitable and so quickly changed which was good.Breakfast was simple and good value with good waitress service to tidy up as we finished each course.Well done

An excellent hotel if you are in newcastle for birthday, hen party etc. perfect for groups. I would not recommend this hotel for families as it is very busy and keeps going into the early hours. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is a bit expensive but there are many cheaper alternatives near by. Only complaint is that the bar closed at 1.30 am

OK if you're looking for a cheapish, purely functional hotelStayed here while in town for a night. It did the job, but was pretty uninspiring. Particularly disliked the large group of drunk blokes in the hotel bar (probably on a stag), but that was probably just the mood I was in.

Jury's InnHave stayed at this hotel before so knew that it was good. It is handy for both the Arena and is in walking distance of the Central station. The room was clean, there were sufficient towels and there was tea and coffee making facilities. The choice of a smoking or non-smoking room was an added bonus. It is also within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars.

?value and servieWe arrived at 13.45 and waited til 1400 but our rooms for fifteen lads who had just driven for 4 hours were not available we all had to hang around with all our bags and no apology for another hour.No twins, No breakfast for £120 per room.Mandatory cash up front and £100 bond per room??!!!

Jury's HotelI have stayed at Jury's hotel in edinburgh and Newcastle and found them to be clean, spacious and the staff friendly. O booked a late deal and thought the room very good value for money. It is convenient for Newcastle centre and the food was great. My room overlooked the railway, which was unfortunate, but it wasn't overly noisy and certainly didn't affect my quality of sleep!
