A nice quite, clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Close to Central Station and Metro. Just a short walk down to the Quayside with all its different bridges. The only downside is the shabby rundown road you have to use to get there, being a lone female I wouldn't want to walk that way in the dark. If I am sent to Newcastle again, I would stay at this hotel.

reason for low customer service was that we were unable to check in at time stated on reservation due to staff sickness. we wanted to check in for 2pm to get changed to then go to football for 3pm. we had to leave baggage in luggage room and were not able to freshen up after a 4 and half hour car journey.

We booked on a room only basis and found it reasonably easily from Central station.Although the hotel was in a very good position we did find it extremely noisy as our room was facing the courtyard. We were kept awake until five in the morning by the noise outside. We complained about this and the duty manager moved us to a room away from the courtyard.I am sure other people have made similar complaints and you as a Group need to be aware that this noise throughout the night certainly in our estimation lowers the tone of your hotel

A small group of us stayed at the Jury's inn for 2 nights (Sat & Sun) and loved every minute of it. The location is FAB, it is within walking distance of the main shops, the quay side and the Gay scene. The hotel was really good value for money, I honestly couldnt find fault with it. The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions. We will definatley be staying here again and would recommend this to anyone staying in newcastle!!

Very friendly and efficient staff. Food a little pricey for what you get (but what's new), and choice rather limited (at least in the bar). For some reason it wasn't possible to have anything from the 'specials' menu. Good sized, disabled room. Note that you would also pay extra for web access in the room. In summary a good business hotel.

Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, the room doors slam shut, there must have been 5 stag parties / hen night people there, the noise from all the smokers outside was terrible.no room service only a system called tray service where u have to go and pick the order up ones self, and that was not 24 hours either !nice enough hotel but por servisces.

On arrival advised by receptionist how to alert security during the night! Called security at midnight to complain of rowdy behaviour in accommodation (we were located on third floor). Securtiy did respond. Awoken further at 12.45 am (another guest must have called security), awoken again at 1.45 am (called security) and again at 3.30 am. Breakfast (extra) OK - a bit cafe style. Receptionist simply took money on check out - did not enquire if the stay had been acceptable - presumably she already knew of the the disturbances. Shame really since hotel ismodern and v, central (good), but no fun if guests can't get an unbroken night's sleep.

Relatively new hotel in the centre of town, cheap and clean, very busy but sturdy build so not kept away by people in corridors etc

Problems from start- 2 rooms were reserved, on check in only one was booked, a very rude receptionist was not interested and was like the lady from little britain who just says "computer says no" , no offer of further assistance and just said only had one room rest of hotel was full so basically it was tough ! she then told me if i didnt agree to check my reservation, i then had to PAY to use pc in hotel to bring up the booking on hotmail, i then dragged the receptionist over to prove infact 2 rooms were reserved, with no apology she said "well i suppose i can sort it " and as if by magic found an available room, why couldn;t she do this in first place!!!!!!!!!Secondly it was pointless staying there as we could not get any sleep due to roudy behaviour of other guests, security did attend but actually made more noise than the rest of the guests put together by banging on doors all all night, they should have just evicted the culprits so everyone could get some sleep. the hotel would do well to remember that not everyone who goes to newcastle on a weekend is on a stag or hen party. we were then left with a long drive to glasgow still tired as we had only managed about 2 hours sleep. when we asked for an extended checkout on sunday afternoon so we could catch up on some much needed sleep we were told there would be a further charge of £20 which we did not pay as felt we should be refunded for due to the noise in first place and shouldn't have to pay more on principal.

Hotel was nice and modern, however my bedroom was facing towards town and I was kept awake by music all night. When booking a room ensure it is not facing the bars. If this cannot be done don't stop here.
