Very loud. Not peaceful. The service is close to what you would expect at McDonalds. The food via room service was cold and under cooked. I actually sick from eating it.

Most employees are lacking training in the hospitality business. We stayed total 4 nights in two different weeks. There is a clear difference in the food quality in breakfast each day. Items from the menu was good, but their brekfast buffet had lower quality. We are guessing that a real chef does not come in every morning. Most employees were not friendly. An employee was talking to another employee over the frontdesk counter for a quite long time while 2,3 customers were waiting right behind her. She did not care at all. In another ocation, we walked up to the front desk, but a front desk person kept looking at his computer screen until I said "excuse me'. This hotel has a great potential with grest views and nice restaurant. Hope they do better in the future.

Stayed at the Juniper last month. Room was tiny, Bed was not very comfortable. They claimed it was a king size bed but it looked awfully small for a King. The room was clean if somewhat rustic. Didn't check out the restaurant so I can't comment on that. It's an Ok choice if you can get it cheap, but there are better choices available. My choice of "Bad" for security and Safety is because on the first floor you have doors that lead outside and if you don't check them and lock them then any of your neighbours can wander in.

Don't expect elevators at the Juniper. It is a pleasant hotel with nice mountain views and lousy parking lot views. The staff is nice. Rooms are somewhat small and bathrooms smaller. I would go back, however. It's not a bad choice.

Nice, clean hotel with beautiful views. Our Chalet room was wonderful for our family with small children. However, although this place oozes with potential, until staffing problems are fixed I would rather stay in an unserviced campsite. We were at the hotel as part of wedding being held on site. Organization was PATHETIC. No one seemed to no what was going on. The banquet hall was not set up until 30MIN before the reception was to start. Not very impressive when the wedding guests had to decorate in their suits and dresses. I think I will stop there, or risk sounding malicious. Food in the resturant was very expensive for the quality. The manager was constantly "missing in action' and no attempt was made to rectify any of the mishaps.

What a view on the frontside !!! The best reason to stay is looking out over Banff from the room. Great food and they treat guests with respect. The Juniper also welcomes dogs. Rooms are on the small side, but very comfy.

My wife and I stayed here one night last November and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very nice, spacious, comfortable with great views. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as well as the service and the mountain/valley views. Watching the sunset while sipping a good glass of wine does not get any better!! We will be going there again...and again.
