In the very centre of Palermo the JOLI hotel offers a good ratio between quality and price.

We book a room at 108 which was supposed to be a double superior. I do not udnerstand why this romm was qualified as SUPERIOR as it was a real tiny and simple room . I consider it is a real SWINDLE.

Nice and clean hotel. Very helpful staff explained things and answered many many questions. My first time in Sicily (and a woman traveling alone) so I needed lots of help -- city bus stops & routes, map orientation for sites I wanted to visit in Palermo, help with schedules and buying tickets for buses and trains to other cities --they enabled me to see so much. I speak some Italian so that enabled me to get detailed answers (but they don't speak much English).

Hotel Joli is in a great location in Palermo. It is close to markets, shops and walking distance to all major sites. It is also opposite great restaurants. It has an appeal in its decore and rooms are spacious, clean. Staff are helpful, breakfast good. We would recommend and stay at the Hotel Joli again, it was a great stay.

My wife and I had a wonderfully 'sympatico' room. (A Junior Suite on the south corner of the first floor with lovely views of the square)). The decoration was gorgeous baroque which the photos did not do justice too. Our son had a single room on the 3rd floor which was adequate but less spectacular. No hotel restaurant but a couple of good restaurants across the street.

Car is made available from garage anytime it is requested. Breakfast is varied and good. Wireless internet available. Hotel well located for seeing the important sights of Palermo and for shopping. Excellent restaurant diagonally opposite hotel. Staff extremely amenable and helpful.

Hotel Joli is in a great location, with a truly wonderful restaurant across the street. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent with good service. The front desk service was adequate, but not the friendlies we've experienced in Italy. We found little English spoken anywhere in Sicily, as compared to the rest of Italy.

Very convenient location in city centre in a quiet side street to busy main street and within walking distance of all major sights. Many good and reasonable small restaurants in the neighbourhood. Friendly and helpful staff, but competence in English a bit lacking.

This hotel is not for those who are light sleepers or bothered by noise! The little square in front of the hotel is quiet active and the roar of engines can be distressing. Reception staff -- some of whom are pleasant - lacks English. The reception area offers no place to sit -- not a single chair. The elevator is very small and confining.

A fantastic place, the rooms feel a little cavernous but are clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning was easy to use (unlike many other hotels we stayed at. It is well worth asking for a room that has its balcony facing the secluded square.

The room was reached by a steep winding staircase and would be completely unsuitable for an older or even partly disabled person. The bar was seldom, if ever, open. However the location is very good and there are good restaurants nearby, and the staff (most of them) were helpful and friendly.
