Hotel Joli is conveniently located very near to the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence and is within easy walking distance of the San Lorenzo market, Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is on the third floor of its building, but there is a lift. The staff were very nice about letting us keep our bags in the lobby both before check-in and after check-out. The shared toilet at the end of the hall was very clean and the room had its own shower and sink, which was nice. The shower did sort of flood a bit, though, so watch out for that. The included breakfast was quite satisfactory and at 55 euro for one night, it was well worth the price.

I would definitely stay again. The owners were very friendly and the room was cleaned daily. The location was pretty good and sights were all within walking distance. Finally, the free breakfast was a nice touch, though I would have liked more choices. The one thing I hated was the lack of wireless internet. They claimed to be getting it soon, but when I was there, my only option was a really lousy computer in the lobby. Also for some arbitrary reason that computer couldn't be used after 11.

Very spacious room. Bathroom was across the hall, but didn't bother me. The most amazing water pressure in the shower! Shared a wall with the breakfast area and there was a lot of noise. Again, not so bad if you are up early. So close to the train station. Good for the price and friendly staff.

The room was unrenovated and a bit shabby. We picked it for the location (close to train station) and the price, but in my opinion the price could have been lower. However, overall the room and hotel were adequate for our purposes. Big minus: no Internet access. (The hotel employees used the computer but there should be an extra one for guests--nowadays this is virtually standard even in cheaper hotels.)

the hotel is easy to find and just five minutes' walk from the SMN train station. you can walk around florence quite conveniently with hotel joli as a starting point. the hotel owners are nice and helpful. areas are clean and bathroom facilities are acceptable. we like the breakfast they serve, particularly the hot coffee. though there's something wrong with the air conditioner in our room in the first night, we were lucky to be offered a very large room (for 4 people) in the next two nights. happy stay in joli and recommended for such reasonable prices.

My stay at Joli was excellent! The rooms weren't lavish but sufficient for my needs. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was a nice addition. The best part of Joli is the staff. They were very helpful, generous and most of all friendly. They helped make the stay that much better. If I come back to Florence, I'll certainly come to Joli again.

I chose this hotel for its closeness to the railway station and value for money. I was not disappointed. Despite its proximity to the station it was relatively quiet for Florence. The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel had airconditioning and a lift as well as being very clean. There was ample food for breakfast. Private facilities often only include a shower and basin with a shared toilet down the hall so be sure to ask for a bathroom if you want both facilities. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.

The owner of the hotel is very welcoming and friendly. But when we arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk wasn't told of our arrival. Therefore, there was no arrangements for car parking. We drove for 1-1/2 hour to find a public parking and ended up at the train station . It charged us for less than 12 hours 20 Euro. Also, when indicated on the website parking available, well it means that the parking garage is 10 mins away by car and if you forgot something in your car, good luck trying to get it . If the driver is coming around the neighbor, then you might get it. If not, you may not. In general, we rate the hotel 3/5. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is good (toast, muffins and coffee)location is amazing. A walking distance to the Duomo. We would stay again at the hotel. Keep your windows close at night, because the noises from the other buildings might be sometimes loud.
