This charming stone built, former Duke of Northumberland's Cottage was constructed about 1912 is to be found in the delightful village of Lesbury. Perfectly situated for exploring this beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty, just a mile away are glorious golden beaches and traditional little fishing villages. All of the Heritage coast is easily accessible from Lesbury as is the market town of Alnwick. A stones throw away are the the popular villages of Alnmouth and Boulmer, part of this amazing Coastline.  We aim to give you a personal welcome and add those special touches to make your holiday a home from home experience. Everywhere has been decorated to a high standard and this cottage is the perfect holiday home for couples and for families.      The accommodation comprises of a lounge with dining area, kitchen and bathroom situated on the ground  floor, the lounge is tastefully furnished with a gas fire and central heating throughout the cottage. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, washer, microwave and electric cooker. The bathroom has bath with power shower over the bath, separate wash basin and toilet.  There is a small garden at the front and to the back a courtyard type garden with pretty seating area. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with four poster bed, perfect for a romantic break. Also upstairs there is a small twin bedroom suitable for two children or one adult comfortably or two adults at a push. You will find also, a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge should it be needed.  All bed-linen for the bedrooms and towels for the bathroom are included in the price. We thoughtfully provide you with a welcome basket which includes locally sourced items.. Fresh flowers from the garden are provided whenever possible. Car Parking is directly in front of the cottage.
