Bad: I booked a double non-smoking bed via online travel website. Got there and the guy at the front desk - who could care less about my comfort - told me they only had kings in non-smoking. He mentioned that my bed wasn't guaranteed via this site, which was not good. My 2 kids and I had to share a king-sized bed rather than me sleeping solo (as was desired!). The front desk staff was uncaring, unfriendly, and unavailable to me twice. I had to pull the old "Hello, is anybody back there?" yell to get attention. The room was muggy & humid when we first went in because the A/C was turned off. Yack! Rugs had spots on them, but they weren't too noticeable because of the dark color. I'm glad it was not sunny out because the pool sucked (VERYsmall). Good: It was very convenient because it's right next to I-20 and Columbia Mall and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast bar had eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, cereal, muffins, and lots more. That was the best part of my stay.

Hotel was clean and lobby was nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great did not expect eggs and sauage. We were impressed with the hotel and staff the day that we had to check out we were able to get an extended check out time with no charge because we had locked our keys in the car and had to wait around for a locksmith. I will stay here again and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Closeness to the city, and the event I attended. I did not like the way the room smelled. This is a modest hotel, with a very good room size. It is good for a family.

Stayed here for military graduation weekend. Rooms were clean and tidy. Got a great deal for the weekend. Staff was nice and courteous. Rooms were just the right size for the family which were 5 people. And the, Breakfast was great, excellent. Some places offer only a bagel and cereal for their free breakfast. Not here, They go all out.

We stayed here and we were not impressed with it. I have learn my lesson. I will always read reviews before staying some place new. Our bill was messed up also. They billed us double and took a day to fix that mistake. Not impressed with the breakfast either.

Upon arrival the hotel staff barely gave us the time of day while checking me in. I asked for a luggage valet cart, since it was just me and my 16 month old son, and they just ignored me. Our room was not clean and falling apart. There was no water pressure at all in the shower. I had to use a wash cloth to get the soap off. I checked other rooms as the doors were open from house keeping and they were equally dirty (even though they were ready to go) and had similar maintenance issues. When I complained to the staff they again ignored me. The outdoor pool was very unclean and unkept. The only plus I would give the hotel was that it had a clean lobby and a nice breakfast spread. The hotel should be given 1 star and should have a $50/night rate. Even then I would look for another place to stay as this one is one block from a strip club and had questionably dressed women in the elevators at night.

Clean, good location, breakfast, good price. We did not have any problems at all. Very nice, clean, good service, close to Ft Jackson which is what we needed. Price was great. It was better than I even expected for the great price.

Where do I start? We came to see our daughter graduate from Ft. Jackson, when we checked in the clerk seemed more concerned about her personal phone call than taking care of the customer. The floors had not been mopped in what appeared to be days. Now to the rooms. The beds had no fitted sheets, and felt like the mattress was 15 years old. The bathroom was so small 1 person could barely turn around in it. The water in tub faucet ran non-stop probably a gallon every 15 minutes, there was also hair in the tub. The water in the sink faucet had NO pressure. When we returned the next evening nothing had been cleaned or straighten, no fresh towels, and the beds had not been made. I could go on and on. When I mentioned this to a different clerk at checkout she only made excuses for the staff. On the bright side, the free breakfast was very good.

nothing like sleeping in a place thats one-step above sleeping in your car in the parking lot. The 2 people at the front desk could barely check us in, check out took longer, 3 people could not figure the bill one inclued the manager. For the 3 days we were there the same spill was on the elevator floor. Rooms were never cleaned. Breakfast was bad instant oatmeal out but no water, eggs were rubber, sausage swimming. They refused to let one person in our group stay in the lobby instead of spending 6 hours in a airport, she was 6 months pregnent. DON'T STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!

Was close to where I needed to be. Dirty, unfriendly staff and not worth what you charged for this room. The hotel was dirty, the staff unfriendly, and it was an overall 1 star room at best. I am surprised you would even have this hotel featured on your site.

They desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Didn't eat continental breakfast. The floors in lobby wasn't mopped one time during my stay. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Found old cigarette butts under the beds and beer bottle caps behind the couch. Mirror in bathroom wasn't clean, see lines on wall where the soap scum begins and end. If I hadn't received military discount I wouldn't have paid the full price. It's not worth that price.

Friendly front desk staff and kitchen staff. The water temperature in the bath tub was hard to control. It was either to hot or to cold. The bathrooms was too small. It was hard for two people to be in there at the same time.

Clean accommodations, friendly staff, roomyandquiet. Hotel lobby, eating area, gym, and other common areas were all clean and well maintained. Room and bathroom were also clean and roomy. Living area (pull-out couch and kitchenette) made room much more livable - good space for eating in, watching TV, other leisure activities, and relaxing.

"The description states pillowtop mattress...Not at all!!! Also, bathroom was not clean when we checked in and we were told to clean it ourselves, there was no one there to do it. Bed linens also had not been changed, so we had to do that as well !"
