Nice breakfast included with room, room seemed to be clean. Maid forgot to leave us soap next day, but desk clerk brought some to us. For the price, we were comfortable, felt safe, had plenty of space, nice TV and good selection of channels to view. Staff was very courteous. The breakfast was very nice, including Belgian waffles, toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, bagels, cereal, juices, and coffee, etc. There was also a USA Today newspaper available as well as computer and wireless internet. Pool appeared clean, although we did not use it.

The room was clean, quiet, and everything worked. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. I will stay here again if needed.

I like getting value for my dollar. So when the clerk at the front desk told me I could save 20 if I drove back to the welcome center (6 miles) to pick up the traveler's savings coupon, I didn't mind. I was a little concerned that when I got there it was closed, but (luckily) there were a couple of Room Saver brochures at the door. The room was nice enough. I was a little miffed when I found the shampoo bottle seal was broken and the bottle was empty, but no big deal. Then the A/C sounded like running water all night. I wasn't surprised when it quit working by morning. When I woke up (a little warmer than I wanted to be...it WAS Mississippi in June!), I noticed that the smoke detector was hanging off of the wall with no battery. A little scary... I got up and dressed to walk over to Cracker Barrel to eat. I usually place a "do not disturb" sign on the door when I leave and plan to come back, but there was none. I dropped my luggage in the car and planned to go back, watch TV, enjoy some coffee and leave. I returned from Cracker Barrel to find the room turned upside down. All of the pillows and bed linens were all over the chairs, the towels were gone, the drink I had in the refrigerator was gone....I HAD NOT CHECKED OUT! I decided it was time to leave. I asked the manager when check out was (11 am....it was only 8 am). When I asked why housekeeping was in my room, she said they assumed I was gone. She offered me another room for 3 hours, but that was silly. Not safe. Wouldn't stay there again!

My only problem was that the housekeeping staff did not clean my room and did not leave me any clean towels. Once I got in and notice the situation the young man on duty gave me clean towels and offered to come and make up our beds. I didn't need that because it was bed time. The hotel manager did give me a discount on my next visit and I appreciated that kind of services.

since I checked in around 10 pm I had to use the little outside window and couldn't go into the lobby. NO elevators so had to change my upstairs room for a double downstairs. When I checked out the next day I was told that I couldn't use my AAA or AARP discount because I didn't mention it when I checked in.. found out the next day when I checked into a Holiday Inn Express that I should have gotten discount. Coffee provided, no cups or glasses

This trip was business and pleasure. We were able to do a river boat ride as well as all the site seeing. This hotel is close to all! Very comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and outlet mall.

Location was great, for casinos, historical district, clothing outlets just a short distance away. Staff was cold and they have nothing, not even coffee, available in the lobby. Adequate for stay, though nothing special about it or the staff.

Receptionist was professional and helpful getting me the AARP rate after I failed to ask for it. Room was fine, everything worked, Cracker Barrel next door was convenient. Breakfast good. Would stay there again

Small room; small tv - reception was hit or miss - barely enough towels; just don't expect a really nice hotel; definitely a budget hotel. the bed was decent, plenty of pillows, staff was professional; seemed clean.

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip of the Southern States and we wanted to explore Vicksburg and Natchez. Vicksburg was a lot cheaper in terms of accomodation and ultimately had more to offer. We were travelling on a budget and The Jameson Inn was perfect. The staff were friendly, it was quick to check in and easy to find. It was also located right next door to some outlet shops and lots of places to eat. The best thing about our room was the dreamium bed which was the comfiest thing I have ever slept on. Would definately stay in a Jameson Inn again!

Convenient, close to restaurants and shopping. We had a stayed at a Jamison before and have always found them to be very nice.
