Hotel was good.Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Only one waffle maker so you had to wait. No bananas. Hotel location was excellent, right next to steak restaurant and very close to movies. You could walk to both. Close to the Outlets and other restaurants.

Breakfast wasn't very good, you could smell cigarette smoke from the room next door, unfriendly, door keys kept didnt work properly. Do not stay here, too many other choices next to it.

After a bad experience at the Pooler, GA., Jamison Inn, we were obligated to stay at the Jamison Inn, Smithfield, NC., because our family had reserved rooms there for the weekend. We hoped that it would be a much more pleasant stay then the previous night in Pooler, GA. No luck! The only bright spot and postive experience over the weekend was the Front Desk Associate, Kaylynn Buchan. The hotel is sadly in need of renovation and modernization. The rooms, no fault of house cleaning, are worn, stained, poorly serviced with suppilies, and worn out linen, carpeting, bedspreads, and towels. The bathroom ceiling was taped up to stop a roof leak, cobwebbs adorned the window valance, gum was visible in the carpet and the walls we marked and stained by footprints, etc. Additionally while this chain has a "pet friendly policy" they show no consideration for those with physical challenges or medical problems such as ALLERGIES. Ctas and dogs are a serious hazard to those who suffer from respitory and allergy reactions. Never again will my family ever use the Jamison Inn chain of hotels/motels and I will be sure to discourage family, friends and associates from bookinbg rooms at them.

The Inn was very comfortable and attractive. We will be staying at another one when the opportunity arrived again. We liked the convenience of being very close to the Outlet Mall.

Close to Interstate. Continental breakfast. Not sure about the sheets, may have been slept in.

We traveled with another couple and upon arriving we found out that we had one smoking and one non-smoking room. We thought we had booked non-smoking rooms, but since we had booked thru a third party website, and that website did not relay the non-smoking preference, we did not have any rights to that reservation. They were booked solid...we went to review the smoking room (which was absolutely TERRIBLE smelling), but once we returned to the front desk a couple in front of us released one of the reservations they had made and we were accommodated in the end...even if our friends had to sleep 3 to a king size bed. On a good note...our rooms were very clean and fresh smelling. The girl behind the counter kept her cool even when challenged by our friends about the reservation. Overall a great stay even tho we had the third party mix-up. I'd recommend calling the hotel directly to make a reservation - this way you know what room you are reserving. We walked next door to the Texas steakhouse saloon for dinner, it was quite good as well. Enjoy your stay!

Friendly staff, and clean rooms. Not all rooms were equipped with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. A review on another site did not rate this hotel well, but I had no problems what so ever. The room, the facilities, and the linens were clean, the decor was neutral, but soothing. The staff was extremely nice.

This is the best place to stay when traveling up and down the east coast. Which is where we pick no matter what. Staff is great and the rooms are very clean and they are pet friendly.

Access to restaurants and shopping areas. Hard to use the card to open the door.

"Room was dirty, bed was broken, Smelled of beer, bed sheets had dried blood stains. We were denied a different room even though some were available. Stay away especially if you have a family."

Great breakfast. The pool was closed, the fitness equipment was terrible. Nice employees but short staffed. There is only one person on duty. We had a stain on the bedspread and they brought up a new one. We asked for a crib and they brought it - but couldn't help put it up (I think it was broken!) The fitness equipment is not really usable - or even safe. But despite that, the room was basic, the breakfast good and the people were nice.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were a little on the small size but clean. Clean rooms and nice staff.

The rooms were decent. We ran out of toilet paper and were only there one night, less than 18 hours. There was 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 shower cap, and 2 bars of soap, no lotion, no notepad or pen. Those little things make a difference. I can get at least that at cheaper hotels.

The friendliness of the employees, closeness to fun outlet mall and restaurants without going out on major highway. We enjoyed staying here and will recommend it to family and friends. We will definitely stay there again!

Fresh clean room and a comfortable bed. I did have to get my key card re-activated every day. The hotel was located close to the freeway and I had a room facing it but I did not notice it in my room. I stayed for three nights and slept well each night the staff was very friendly and helpful and the coffee is always on.

Very clean, hotel staff waspleasant and accommodating. Would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness and cleanliness of the hotel.

Staff was excellent. The building was very well illuminated and felt safe. Room could have used a bit of updating, but it was very satisfactory.
