This hotel sits upon a hill and looks great from the outside. As I arrived and looked over the exterior, I thought I had received a great bargain. The lobby is acceptable but rather plain and uninteresting. It does not match the beauty of the exterior but, nonetheless, it gives no cause for complaint. The desk clerk was friendly and promply checked me in. If there was any staff to help with luggage, they were not present at my arrival. My worst surprise came when I opened my door to my room on the second floor. The housekeeping staff was just finishing the cleaning of my room. That was very surprising in view of the fact the hotel was virtually empty. The following day, I also left early in the morning and did not return until 6:30 pm. My bed had not been made, the room had not been cleaned, and there was no housekeeping staff around doing any cleaning. I checked out the following morning. I do not recommend this place and will never stay there again.

Great rooms and ambiance. Our room as heavy with cigarette and they refused to move us. Overall great except for the extreme discomfort of the smoking room. We had to wash everything when we got home including suitcase.

You should probably ask the front desk when you check in. The first night we stayed, we were in room 125 and check out was clearly marked as "12:00 PM" on the interior door placard. Two days later, we stayed in 129, and a maid knocked on the door at 11:00 AM and told us that check-out was 11:00 AM. We checked the door placard and where in 125 it had said "12:00 PM," the number was whited out! They should update those interior door placards. . . other then that, it was an okay place to stay for the money.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Jameson Inn. The breakfasts were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was a bit dissappointed at the lack of a refrigerator in the room, but everything else met or exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, well designed for efficiency and quiet.

It was very clean and the staff was excellent. They advertise waffles but ran out of them before breakfast was over. Over all very pleased with the hotel and would visit again.

"Had cold water both mornings that we stayed, the breakfast was constantly out of coffee, pastries, etc., non-smoking room smelled like smoke, bathroom sink, wouldn't drain, mattress was uncomfortable."

This hotel is starting to show a little wear. Carpet in our room was filthy. Grandson crawling on the floor ended up with dirty hands and feet. The staff is very friendly.View from the pool area is beautiful. This was our second stay here and would consider it again but would also look at newer motels.
