close to food and interstate

The room appearance was very appealing when we walked in. The hotel is directly off the interstate, but there was no road noise even in the parking lot. Secluded by beautiful mature trees, the Jamison looks more like a southern plantation than an over-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and there was a nice quite area for reading or relaxing in solitude.

I had not heard of the Jameson Inn name before and I was a little skeptical at first. To my surprise I had a wonderful stay here. Right when I walked in the beautiful lobby the front desk staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. The rooms were very clean and I felt as if my every request was sincerely granted. I was even given directions by their own general manager! I loved this hotel and I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Elkhart!

What a great hotel! For being the first time staying in a Jameson Inn I was uneasy when booking but much to my surprise it was very clean and comfortable. A huge bonus was that they accepted pets and didn't make us stay in a smoking room! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

It was nice to have a place that was quiet and restful at the end of a log days work. There were nice places to eat close by which helped save time.

The staff was great! Made us feel VERY at home. The rooms were very clean, very comfy! BEAUTIFUL hotel! Nice outdoor pool and DELICIOUS breakfast! The price was a little up there, but DEF. worth it. I will be staying at the Jameson Inn in Elkhart, Indiana EVERY time we are in town!!

First of all, we had to wait 20 min to check in because there was no one at the desk! The clerk finally came and gave us the room! We go up to the room, and the key does not work! 2nd set didnt work, and finally she changed our room! In the room, the bathroom had hair!!! Anytime we called down to the desk, no one answered the phone. We had to go down everytime!!!The room was not nice at all. Which made the service stink, because there was nothing they would do about our complaints. She would write it down, and say I am sorry, I will let the manager know! When we asked about the manager, there was never one around! There was no space to even walk around in the room. The desk area was very small! And a few more lights would have been nice! Overall, This was a very bad experience!

We had stayed in Elkhart IN a week previously on our way from Cheyenne WY to Berlin PA. Unfortunately we did NOT stay at the charming Jameson Inn. On this trip we did and it was lovely, friendly, helpful staff, they welcomed my fur baby and there was beautiful grounds to walk her in. Breakfast in the morning was delightful, however, no eggs nor cheese nor peanut butter. I need a little protien so we ended up going out for breakfast :(

Excellent for the price. Full breakfast, free internet, free parking, microwave and mini-fridge in room. Furnishings are looking a little tired and the other amenities, I'm willing to overlook furnishing that are beginning to look a little dated.

i was please with my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and nice, and didnt have a weird smell. The bed was big and comfortable, the staff friendly. The receptionist who checked my boyfriend and I in even gave us a key card with 10% off the steakhouse next door, which we used. Right off of the highway, accesible. I will probably stay there again.

The beds were very comfortable There was dog hair all over the outer blanket. I love staying at the Jameson Inn when I travel. The recently upgraded, and renovated rooms make a huge difference to the quality and comfort of my stay.

I had not stayed at a Jameson before. I was very satisfied with the hotel and would stay there again when I am in the area. Lots of choices for food at the exit.

The Jameson Inn was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. The location was very good -- It was especially affordable for Notre Dame football games.

This was our first time to Elkhart/South Bend and didn't know what to expect. The hotel was great. Clean, quiet, helpful staff, convenient to highway/restaurants/grocery. We couldn't have asked for more. This was the perfect compromise between paying the premium to stay in South Bend or driving in from Chicago or Indianapolis. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

The room was very comfortable, the bedding was great, I liked the extra pillow. It was not on a busy street,so it was quiet. The breakfast could have had more of a variety. It was close to restaurants.

Very attractive and the staff was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable of area attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the refrigerator and microwave were very convenient.

This was not where we thought we would be staying. When we signed up, we thought we were staying closer to South Bend and we thought there was an indoor pool. We also needed wi-fi which they were supposed to have but we could never make it work because the connection was so slow
