We enjoyed staying at a hotel that was in the quiet outskirts of the city. There was no shortage of places to eat. Being a small hotel, it had a relaxing atmosphere. The pool was nice, but it closed at 10:00 (lights out!) Our room had a microwave and a small refridgerator which was nice. But the best part of the room was the comfortable bed--there was even plenty of pillows (a rarity). The temperature in the room was a little tricky to regulate. The complimentary breakfast was good. Guests were able to make their own Belgian waffles. Some of the front desk people seemed less than enthused about their jobs, but others were extremely helpful and friendly. Just a note--when going staying in Louisville, a GPS system was a God-send!

The Jameson Inn East was very clean, hospitable and up to date. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and quality bed linens that you don't usually see in a hotel for this price. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was very friendly and the location was very convenient. You hear everything. Paper thin walls. Great place to stay for business or leisure with a nice indoor pool and a great management staff.

I was not familiar with the Jameson chain, which is mainly in the south. Our room was large with very comforatble Dreamium beds. Despite a lot of kids in the hotel that weekend, the room was quiet. It was a good value and we would return again.

When we opened the first room they assigned us it had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. The hotel said they computer showed it was cleaned and they seemed to have a problem deciding which rooms were clean. The next room we had, the telephone did not work and the freezer on the refrigerator was iced up so much that the door would not close. We was moved to another room which was okay. I liked that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and it did have a long counter top. There were a number of restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was nice and made staying there a great choice. It was a wonderful place to stay and staff was very helpful.

Monday eve and Tues A.m., the pool was empty (of people) Nice whirlppol and Sauna. Room had microwave, refrigerator, coffee service. Breakfast was excellent - good for the whole day! Convenient location near several reastaurants. Ruby Tuesday very good. Before we arrived we visited Churchill Downs, nice museum and guided tour. We er too early for the hoses, tho.

All of the staff was very friendly. After our first night I reported the refridgerator and radio were broke because I didn't want them to think we had done it. We went out for the day and when we came back each item had been replaced. Anything we asked for (extra towels, blanket, etc) we had within a matter of minutes. They really took good care of us. The only thing missing was eggs on the breakfast buffet. However, there is a Cracker Barrel nearby if you like eggs in the morning. If carbs don't matter for you, then their breakfast would be great! :)

We stayed with our family of 5 plus our dog. The room was larger than many, and was very clean. Nice amenities, including the microwave, fridge, desk, and comfortable beds. The pool area was clean and well lit. The continental breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety. The only thing that needs improvement is the wireless internet. The signal was so poor I had to go to the lobby to work, but at least the lobby was comfortable.

This was such a good stay for us that I am now going to join the Jamison Inn Rewards club. The price was reasonable. Good large room with a chair to set in and it had access to a lot of good places to eat ,and a great Shopping Center.

This hotel was an ideal 2 star hotel. The lobby was bright, cheerful, and every amenity I could expect from this hotel. My room was spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed and bed linens and had every amenity I could expect. The weather outside was frightful, but inside (including the staff) was delightful!

Very pleased with this hotel; rooms are great, bed is the best, breakfast was far more than normal, people were very friendly and the internet access was just what I needed.

The woman who was attending the desk on the evening of May 21st was very unfriendly and even a little rude. Whe would not give me a reciept and talked to me as if I was a bother to her and was wasting her precious time. I was the only customer at the time. I was starving when I arrived at 9:30. The Take-Out Taxi service was closed. There was no room service or any way to get any food. The Craker Barrel restaurant, the only one within walking distance was also closed. I asked the receptionist for suggestions and she said I don't know. Some of this was just circumstance and had nothing to do with the hotel and more with my schedule but the factors described did negatively impact my stay.
