James Guest House - Bed and Breakfast with a differenceI was impressed that the owner of the guest house contacted me personally to make sure everything was ok. She was very helpful, providing information about the local area and services.My suite was exceptional - very clean and beautifully decorated and maintained.The breakfast part of this stay was on a "help yourself" basis - the kitchen and food were at my disposal to use as I wished. I think this is a novel way to operate and very trusting of the owner. I took care to leave the kitchen as I had found it - immaculately clean!I would definitely recommend this guest house to my friends and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future!

I was very happy with the house thou it would be nice. to meet the people that owned it not just talk on the phone. but it was lovely and i would book again may be next year if i go to the Horse of the year show.

I would like to point out the fact that if I had been an elderly person (say in my 70s or 80s) there is no way that I would have been able to carry a suitcase up the stairs in the establishment. The bedroom we were allocated was very small for a double room, there was not a lot of room. The cleaning staff we met were very friendly and very helpful.
