What transport is available to get around?: We have various transportation options to get from the airport to the James Hotel. If you wish to travel in style, we could arrange a town car or limousine at the price range of $88.00 to $119.00. It takes approximately 40-60 minutes to get to the hotel.

Another option to consider is the "Go Airport Express Shuttle" that departs from the O’Hare every 20 minutes outside the baggage claim area. The cost per person is $27.00. This mode of transportation takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour because this service drops off passengers at various downtown hotels. (http://www.airportexpress.com)

On the other hand, a cab fare will cost between $45 to $50 and takes about 45 minutes. If you feel adventurous, you can take public transportation. Take the Blue line train From O’Hare and transfer to the Red line at Jackson heading northbound to Howard, get off on Grand Avenue station. Walk two blocks North on State Street and then two blocks East (right turn) on Ontario Street.

From Midway you could take the Orange line, then transfer to the Red line at Roosevelt and finally get off on Grand Avenue station. Walk two blocks North on State Street and then two blocks East (right turn) on Ontario Street.
