The hotel never received my Orbitz confirmation so they had no idea we were coming. It took forever to check in and we almost didnt get a room. Once we did get a room I remembered the movie ticket promotion and we went back to the desk later to receive my movie tickets. they again didnt have any idea what I was talking about and I had to return to the desk the next day again and speak with a manager to finally get my promotional movie tickets. As a result of this confusion I was charged twice for this trip and it will take more of my time to try and get this corrected. Orbitz charged me and now the Hotel charged me as well! [...]

Everything about the JW is first class. My only complaint was no airport shuttle.

This was the best hotel I have stayed at in AZ.

Lazy river is fun & heated, pretty grounds & cactus garden, Starbucks. Pool areas had lots of litter; had to pay to park your own car ($10/day!) Common areas are gorgeous, staff is very helpful and friendly; pools are fun - especially the lazy river & it is heated; but pool areas were often littered with people's cups and trash; rooms are not suites; bathrooms are large & nice; parking is ridiculous - $10/day to park it yourself far away; full Starbucks on the grounds - very handy.

We stayed here for a Father / Son getaway. This is a world class resort with wonderfull service and amenities. Golf on property was first class. Pool facilities were outstanding. Rooms are well appointed and staff is genuinely friendly and courtoeous. Would definately come again.

Well trained, friendly staff. Good attitude. Parking is poor, inconvenient. Shuttle non-existent. J.W. Marriot is a good choice for families who want a resort experience with good service. It would be a good choice for a business for a smaller convention or meeting location where everything is on - site. Not a good choice for the traveler who is going in and out frequently.

Our dinner reservtion was cancelled due to a private function and the Hotel did not call us to let us make an alternate reservation. The Restaurant they selected for us was horrible...however I did write to the restaurant and was reimbursed. This is a nice facility but does not compare to the JW Marriott in Orlando Florida

This is the best resort I have ever stayed at. The resort has everything, great pools, great food and great staff. It was very relaxing laying by the pool, the staff brought by cold towels and was very friendly. The spa was also very nice. Great services and discounts for multiple services. I was so impressed with the entire resort. Golf was on site as well. There was something for the whole family to do and I cannot wait to return!

The pool was absolutely gorgeous kids loved it. The 25.00 resort fee. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff were very friendly and the activities for the kids were outstanding. Loved this hotel!

Watch out for the huge hidden valet fee. They don't disclose that you have to pay $* for the valet service until check out. and when we complained they said that's what all resorts do now. Not True! Also they said that they were going to begin an $ *fee for self parking. These things should be included in the price of the room. We paid a good premium already. We felt nickled and dimed there. We had hoped by buying this bran that they would have had standards preventing this piracy. Also the Sub contractor Roy's restaurant had great food but the service was poor. Upon receiving a slightly less than 20% tip our waiter made us feel bad. Unprofesssional as he picked up the tip before we left.

The pools. Small double beds. We were there primarily as a spring break long weekend getaway. The weather was great and the pools spectacular. Unfortunately service by the pool was very slow. The bathroom is overly spacious and the double beds seemed small. The lounge was very nice everthing was very expensive and luxurious.

My husband and I come here at least once a year and celebrate our anniversary. Even though we live in town, we feel like we are a million miles away. This is a great resort and you really don't need to leave it if you are staying for a weekend (although there is an enormous shopping center across the street). I recommend staying during the summer-- yes, it's 110 degrees, but then you can take advantage of the pool! We always stay in the summer and spend most of our day by the HUGE pool. The only downside to staying in the summer is that it is very busy, so prepare to wait for everything-- check in, food and beverages, a raft in the (awesome) lazy river, and your valeted car. I really don't think it's the staff, though, just the high volume of vacationers. The pool food is, well, pool food, but the poolside drinks are out of this world! The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, and the bathrooms are pretty incredible. Last time I mentioned in my reservation that our room on our previous stay had no view and I was pleasantly surprised to find that our balcony overlooked the main patio and pool--gorgeous! There are two coffee shops right in the hotel, so skip the overpriced breakfast buffet. Roy's is always good, but we were disappointed by their Italian restaurant. The wine and appetizers were awesome but our main dishes were bland. They also have a small menu in the lounge and there is live music on weekend nights. Sometimes the band is a little cheesy but we like it anyway. We really love staying here and I am already looking forward to next year's trip.

Unbelievably fabulous pool. Need own car unless you don't want to leave the resort. Beautiful property with an amazing pool. Very large without being institutional. One of the loveliest lobbies I've seen.

We loved your hotel. We felt so relaxed and the staff was incredible the entire stay. The room was clean as well as the hotel. The pools were awesome! Loved the tropical setting and room views. I will stay here again and highly recomend this hotel to others! Thanks for a great stay!

It was beautiful, had lush landscaping and the rooms were spacious and well decorated. This hotel was top-notch. The grounds were beautiful day and night. The room was spacious and comfortable with a very large bathroom that had a separate shower and tub. Service was outstanding.

"This resort is fabulous!! We have traveled to many destination and stayed in many high quality hotels/resorts (I used to work for one of Mariott's competitors) and this was head and shoulders above any we have experienced!! The resort is beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking!! We loved the added customer service touches; i.e.: complimentary pitchers of ice water brought to you at the pool, cold wash cloths offered and even complimetary popsicles on a hot afternoon! The staff is wonderful! We would recommend this resort to anyone and plan to make a return visit!"
