This was the first time I have been to Turkey and I found it to be a beautiful, colourful and friendly place. I cannot understand why so many English people complain about the Germans, are they not entitled to a holiday too? We must remember we are in the Turks homeland and should respect their ways. As for being 'ripped off', I have had exactly the same experience in London whilst visiting there so what is the difference. The Hotel I found to be extremely clean, every member of staff to be courteous and even though I went self catering I enjoyed every single minute off it......apart from the whining from some of the English tourists. A tip for you all....holiday in England from now on so that people who can appreciate all things global can do so in peace.

I had a great time here. I did discover on arrival that this resort is hugely popular with the germans - hence they use the Euro, Turkish Lira and Sterling but I have no problem with that! Self Catering was great, weather was amazing. It was my first trip to Turkey and i was very impressed. Once you understand you are expected to barter for almost everything, then it's all fine! The bar is very expensive and eating at their restaurant is also not cheap with tiny portions. However, I will defo book for next year.

Both my girlfriend and myself really enjoyed our stay at the Iz Flower, Side Beach. Room was super clean, cool and perfectly adequate, although the kitchen in a wardrobe wouldn't have been great to cook a 3 course roast in, as we ate out at the excellent "Deniz Beach Restaurant" every evening we weren't to worried. Avoid drinks in the hotel bar... £2.70 for a half of Efes lager. Room safe at 1.50 euros a day is really expensive, but safe will not work without activation magnet from reception. We enjoyed the holiday in general so much that we have re-booked for September. Apart from a few minor niggles, this hotel is pretty much damn perfect.

If your german then stay here, if your not then dont bother. The hotel is extremely german orientated, if your self catering be expected to pay £2.30 for a small glass of beer and no kitchen in rooms just a cupboard with a kettle and small filliment heater. The pool is amazing but the hotel is situated in kumkoy not side, they call it side but side is a harbour which is about 10 mins away on a bus. I wouldnt go to turkey again, the locals try their hardest to rip you off eg: 6.5 lira for a can of coke(£3.00) and burger king in the airport is........£9.00 (18 TL) a burger. Dont bother with turkey, they have began to destroy there own economy, because they have become greedy.
