A very clean and welcoming Motel, with great economy rooms, situated on main highway to Bar Harbour etc, right on free bus route into Harbour and Arcadia Part, better than taking the car.

Price and location. Room wasvery small and it was noisy.

We stayed four nights in one of the small cottages. It was clean, comfortable and quite accommodating for two people. We felt it was well located for all our planned activities. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We definitely would consider staying there on future trips.

The rooms are 30 yards from Rt-3, the busiest and only road to Acadia nation park. Room is tiny. That's why their policy do not allow extra person in room, there is no extra space. The room has bad smell.

It's a very good budget solution. the motel is right before the entry to Mt Desert island, about 10mn drive from the entry of Acadia Park. Rooms were very clean and well organized. The breakfast was great (bagels, bread, english muffin, fruits, PB, jelly, tea, coffee, orange juice) staff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend in particular the restaurant next door with lobsters!! One issue: the motel is on the street so it's a bit noisy...

These cabins are small like all the cabin rentals in the area but they are basically for sleeping off the days activities. Our cabin was clean. There is no noise from the road at night since there is no tourist traffic at night, so we had a good peaceful sleep. We had several rainy days so we went into Ellsworth and visited the L.L. Bean Outlet and took in a movie. This turned out to be a good location to stay. The lobster pound across the street is great. Breakfast was simple, coffee, juice, packaged muffins, fruit, granola bars.

We were able to secure a cottage with no prior reservations in October, something I was wary of. But I figured it beat the planned lodging - camping on a 30 degree night. We were pleasantly surprised with clean and cozy accommodations in a cute little bungalow. The kids loved having their own little ""house."" The staff were efficient, welcoming, and accommodating. I would stay again.

The room was adequate. Nothing fancy but it seemed clean. Shower was pretty small.

In my position as Location coordinator for an independent film company, I do a great deal of traveling and stay in quite a few motels. I was in Maine on business last November and stayed at the Isleview Motel in one of their cottages. It was one of the nicer experiences I've had. Clean, efficient and very accommodating. After I make my recommendations on this location, (if we get the green light) I will bring the company with me when I return. My stay was met with friendly people who were eager to help me have the best stay possible.P.S. Neither the staff nor the owner knew my business, so I don't believe I received preferential treatment.

Room is fairly small, but since I was on vacation and did not spend a lot time in the room, it was perfectly fine. It was clean. Pillow was too flat. Location is pretty good -next to the main highway leading into Mt Desert Island. There is a good, relatively inexpensive lobster pound across the street.

We'll definately come back. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids had a blast with the dog Fin(?). The fire pit was a real treat. The convenience to Acadia Nat. Park was fantastic, only 10 minutes away.

This is a very delighful small hotel that is within easy access to Acacdia National Park & compared to prices of hotels in this area, it is a good valur for your money. Our theory is that we do not necessarily need to have a big luxurious room, since we use it primarily for sleeping. Keeping this in mind, the unit is very small. They keep it very clean & freshly painted & owners are very friendly.

The room I stayed in was pretty small. 2 people, 2 bags and the space left to move in the room was very small if not any space. The motel is on a main road, so, if you have light sleep, the night can be pretty unconfortable. Overall the room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Anyway, I'd go back there.
