Good place to stayGreat place to stay in Dublin, near to bus and train stations and a walk away from Temple bar. Well worth the money and enjoyed our stay a lot. Did not get to eat in the hotel but it looked very nice anyway. It is close to the rail tracks but this did not affact our stay in the slightest.

The hotel was located on the edge of downtown dublin; however it was close enough to walk anywhere. Further, it was next to the bus station and the tram. The staff was friendly, the room clean.

I had a single room on the 3rd floor, which luckily for me had air conditioning! Very clean with helpful staff. The included breakfast was the standard scrabbled eggs/bacon/sausage, but still very nice. Would definitely go back to this hotel!

Dublin short breakHotel is in a good position in regards to walking to Temple Bar or O'Connell Street. Our twin room was in dire need of renovation and level with the train line approximately 20 metres away. The trains run all night!!I would definitely not stay in this hotel again if I had to take one of these rooms. Not really value for money and in future I would pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

We were at Hotel Issacs for our honeymoon. The room barely offered the bare ameneties. The hotel had been renovated. However, they didn't feel the need to include A/C in EVERY room. We had to have a fan sent up to our room to be somewhat comfortable, and it was April. The only room service offered was for breakfast and there was no pay per view for movies. On our second to last day we were without cold water, so unless you could stand scalding water for your shower, you had to wait till after 12 noon..

Good clean and tidy hotel, spacious room, great location for transport connections. street area can be noisy thru the night.

Isaacs Hotel ReviewThe hotel was in a great location and was clean friendly and very well priced! The only problem I had was that my room (225) was unbearably hot. Even with the window open there was no way of cooling the room down, this made for a restless nights sleep.

Excellent. Great value for money in an otherwise expensive city. The whole place felt like it had had some money spent on it recently and it had been done up very nicely. The pub downstairs felt like a proper pub and not a hotel bar and the restaurant on the ground floor was surprisingly good too!

Access for cars is difficult. There is limited hotel parking, would strongly advise booking a parking space in advance. All other aspects of Hotel are delightful.

One of the bestGreat hotel, very central opposite the bus station. I would recommend this hotel to everyone as the frinedly staff, great food and relaxed atomophere would suit all kinds of travellers. I've stayed in many hotels in dublin and this by far is one of the best.

Very easy to get to, straight off the bus from the airport and across the road. Our room was very big and had plenty of space. Shower was extremely powerful!! Roughly a ten minute walk to temple bar and o connel street, if that, which provided easy access to the rest of the city via buses.

Although the location was perfect - for access to trams, buses, taxis - and walking in general into town - the hotel seemed a bit unfinished... and didn't live up to the hype... On first appearance the hotel room appeared large and clean - but then we found a) a large cracked tile on the bathroom floor that seemed to rock in various directions when you stood on it b) the TV aerial had been pulled out of the wall, leaving the connection in the wall - and open fuses sticking out of the cable... and c) the ceiling let water in, which made loud 'dripping' noises through the night... don't know about the food - didn't stick around long enough to try it.

Nice Hotel overall. Great central location. Reasonably quite, reasonably priced compared to others in the area and no complaints on the cleanliness. One gripe though that's left an impression though. As the saying goes; first impressions last! On arrival our booking couldn't be found by the unhelpful and unfriendly man at reception and we were told/asked to print the booking confirmation we had received. We were directed to the computer in the lobby which required us to pay to gain internet access. When I asked the receptionist if we were required to pay for this he confirmed that we were. First time I've ever had to pay an additional sum to check into a hotel! The PC swallowed three times the amount displayed, then wouldn't print the confirmation. Luckily a professional member of staff happened along, allowed us to use her office PC and with a smile refunded the money spent on the internet. She processed the check-in efficiently and with the courtesy we would expect. Situation resolved and hotel reputation saved. I was frustrated and angry at the manner in which we were originally greeted. Don't know if the original guy was having a bad day... but as we and his more professional colleague knew, there was no excuse for his manner or attitude. Asking customers to jump through hoops and pay for the priviledge isn't acceptable, especially given that there were rooms available despite him not being able to find our booking. Despite this we found the hotel to be comfortable (if not a little too warm) and the rest of the staff were very friendly.

2nd stay at this hotel. Last time brekfast was included, but not this time which made it more expensive.Room was fine once we worked out how to work the air con/heating, but there was a crack in the basin in the en-suite.The hotel seems to have been extended on the upper floors since we last stayed and is in need of a little finishing off here and there, but nothing drastic.Good position for Bus Station, Trains & Taxi Rank. 5 - 10 minute walk into the main bars & shops.Good hotel overall with freindly & helpful staff, but would have been much better value with breakfast included.

Great value for money! The hotel was lovely and clean. We really enjoyed our stay despite having read the reviews about the noise from the trams and bus station. We slept like logs and didnt hear much noise at all. The hotel is in an ideal spot and in walking distance from all the main locations.

Hotel Isaacs is very close to downtown and easy to get around. Some notes, there is many hostels in the area and can get noisy with the train coming by the back of the hotel and a busy street in front. The room was very clean and was nice to have a little pub connected with the hotel to sit and relax and not too loud.

I requested a non-smoking room when I placed the reservation but was allocated a smoking room upon arrival. After explaining that I was not happy with this I was upgraded to an executive room. The exec room had a large flat screen TV and air con (standard has normal TV and no air con) and was a slightly larger room than the standard. In terms of quality of the room, think higher than a travel lodge style hotel, but not much higher.

Good clean room and bathroom. Good value for money, good location, friendly staff. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food. Would stay here again and would recommend to a friend if booked through late rooms at this rate.
