This is a very old property that they attempt (poorly) to keep updated. The rooms are clean, but unless you plan on staying out of the room most of your trip, would not recommend. Also, very short-staffed. This is the second time I've stayed here, only because I forgot I had stayed here once before. Lines at front desk for check-in and check-out are very long, so anticipate standing for a while.

The gentleman that checked us in (a trainee) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave great directions to room/amenities. The room was very run down. The toilet overflowed the first time it was flushed. Housekeeping and maintenance came multiple times. The section of rooms where we were definitely needs some updating. Furniture was scuffed. Mattresses were worn out.The hotel wasn't getting as much revenue as if we had booked with them.

The hotel has great potential but is in desperate need of a renovation. The property sits right on the beach and also offers a large pool area along with several restaurants and bars (one right on the beach). Unfortunately, everything is very old with peeling paint, worn flooring, and the smell of an old motel. Housekeeping kept everything as clean as they could, considering what they have to work with.

The front desk was friendly. The pool was nice. The hotel was excellent, except for the room cleaning service. We stayed for 4 nights and they did not clean the room properly. We had to call the front desk to ask them to clean the room. We also had to ask for cofee, because they did not leave us any in 3 days..

Orbitz did a great job finding a room on Cocoa Beach during the scheduled Shuttle Launch. The weather did not do as well and it was scrubbed 3 times. The hotel is kid friendly and has some special suites for kids - but it is also less expensive than its neighbors - and is stressed from use. The comedy club on property (Fridays only) was excellent and the food is priced fairly. Remember to tip the dining room staff - they have a lot of foreign visitors who don't tip at all.

It is conveniently located near the beach. The restaurant was limited to certain times to dine. This hotel was perfect and I will probably stay at it again.

Hotel was nice the check was very fast even thought there was a long line. We got to pick where our room was. Loved the MAMBO place to eat, alittle slow but hey we were on vacation. Fast Beach access! Our room was okay, I think it could have been a little cleaner( the Bathroom) the shower kep t clogging. The pool on the other hand was the not so good part. TONS, TONS of kids i got in the pool and it was a little nasty! Hair and Sand was coming up from the bottom! Grossed me out so i had to get out. and once again way to many kids. I suggest if you don;t have kids...... don;t stay here. this is a very kid friendly hotel!

We decided very last minute to head to the beach and were so happy we came to the Holiday Inn. We arrived very late and the reception staff was very friendly and patient giving us great directions to the room and explaining all the facilities the hotel had to offer. I strongly suggest eating at Mambos by the beach-the atmosphere is great and the service and food were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The kids LOVED the pirate ship pool and playground. The hotel has tennis courts on site and you can get racquets and balls from the front desk.

Hotel staff not friendly at all , uncooperative , sarcastic treatment , never been treated so poorly ! did not get what we signed up for , stayed one night out of seven as the place was disgraceful ,moved to a new location another hotel . would not ever recommend holiday inn cocoa beach to anybody ! we were told this is what you get by going through a third party reservation site !!! However the Help desk at cheap tickets were fantastic ,Even the girl on the phone ( At cheap tickets )was treated poorly by the staff/ Manager , thanks for getting us out of there !!! was allowed to keep the car in the package , that was the best part of the deal !! Will never stay even close to that hotel !

Location near to beach and Kennedy Space Center. Old hotel not to the standards of a Holiday Inn. Needs a serious renovation. The rooms stink and the furniture is old. TV remote was broke. We visited for Spring Break looking for a beach and a pool to relax. The hotel provided both. The pirate pool was good for the 4 yr old and the bigger pool was good for the older kids (8 &11) the playground provided good entertainment too. Tennis courts and shuffle board in great condition.Room was clean and basic with a fridge and microwave. We requested to be close to the payground and pool which worked out great-can see kids playing on playground while in our room. Food was good- but be aware there is an 18% gratuity on everything you buy from the bar/restarant so the soda at the pool bar will cost a bit extra. Good dining and fast food nearby. $25 to rent an umbrella and lounge chair on the beach per day. Small pool towels are provided at pool but I recommend you bring some bigger beach towels to lay on at the beach.

The room was damp. It felt dirty. Old. This hotel was misleading. There were many sections to this hotel. The part I was put in was motel/style. I would have never booked had I known this. Didn't feel particularly safe while here. Internet in the room was down in the room for most of my 4 days. I had to go to the lobby to use the internet for work. I would definitely not book here again.

Great staff, on beach, nice room. Small bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was able to get me an early check in time. Bathroom was a bit too small. Nice decor and right on the beach.

Hotel is in a great location, and has a great beach. The hotel is an ollder from the 60's. Room was clean, no microwave. Pool was heated, and the hot tub was hot. Overall ,I would stay but not pay more than 80 again. No room safe.

I thought the location of the hotel was wonderful. Right on the beach. The pool was great with the kids. It did seem to have some issues that needed to be addressed such as pieces of the kiddie pool have fallen off and holes in the pool floor. But overall it was fine. I have an issue with the safety of their bathtubs. My 8 year old was taking a shower and slipped and split her chin open on the side of the tub. There isn't any non slip surface on the bottom of the tub. She ended up with 4 stitches...so be careful in the shower. We also had an issue in the restaurant with their "kids eat free" deal. Apparently if you book through Travel online or any other travel site, they do not want to honor this promotion. They did end up giving us the deal once, but they would not honor it for the entire trip...we did not eat here again since the food was not all that great to begin with. I would probably stay here again due to the price and location, but definitely would not let my children stand in the tubs.

If the rooms had not been prepaid we would have changed hotels- The ice machine had stagnant water sitting around it and there was no way to get ice without standing in the water. Shower was clogged in one room, rugs dirty, door didn't fit tight at the bottom and the air conditioner didn't keep the room cool.

Old. This should not be more than a 2 star hotel is old and needs major renovations.

This hotel has seen better days. It was quiet and comfortable, but needs some upgrading. There were lots of crumbling walls and such. Very good food and drink. Great staff. Excellent location.

This hotel is right on the beach, so the location is excellent. However, the hotel has seen better days. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was good, but the room was fair. It was decorated as best as can be for an older establishment, but it was clearly outdated. The owner should tear it down and start from scratch. They have tried to spruce it up. I'm glad I didn't pay any more than I did.
