A great location for our purpose but, bad location for this class hotel. Lack of parking lot and had to pay $ 16/day for parking.

Nice place, awesome people. The construction was awful, but we finally made it there after an hour of driving around and the front desk navigating us there by phone. Unfortunatly, we got there at 1:00am and left at 9:30am, but if we were going back to Cleveland we would stay again.

My trip was for medical reasons at the Cleveland Clinic. Everything was above average except the food.

Very spacious rooms. Price was quite expensive. Nice hotel, but price could be less. Valet was required and must be paid separate from hotel. Did not like that at all as the payment had to be by credit card. Would have went to a different hotel if I knew the total price going in.

Only valet parking for $15 per day. It took almost an hour for them to bring us our car on the second day because they had blocked it in and had to move many other cars to get at it. They told us it would only take 15 minutes. No one told us beforehand that the entire area was under construction and we spent over half an hour trying to find the driveway into the place. It is not in a good area, we saw a druck staggering down the middle of the street.

We were in Cleveland for the weekend to look at homes. We wanted to stay somewhere relatively central, and Intercontinental Suites fit the bill. It's a 10-15 minute drive from Downtown, Shaker Heights, and Cleveland Heights, so it was relatively easy to get to all the houses. This would also be a great choice for people visiting students or sick friends/family, as the hotel is across the street from Cleveland Clinic and a few blocks from Case Western. CSU is also about a 10 min drive away. The room was wonderful. Our suite had a bedroom, living room, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, cabinets), work area (table and 3 chairs) and a very large bathoom and dressing room. The entire suite was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The amazingly comfortable beds almost made us miss our flight! Our only criticism would be the lack of a concierge. This made it a little difficult to find things to do in the evening and places to eat, since we were new to Cleveland. The sister Intercontinental Conference Center & Hotel three block down, however, has a full-service concierge. We would probably have stayed there if we knew this, but that hotel is also more expensive and standard rooms are not suite style. Other than not having a concierge, the staff were great, meeting all of our needs. Other random tidbits that are nice: - Complimentary business center (only had 2 computers, but it also had 2 laser printers, which allowed us to do online check-in and print our boarding passes for free) - Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate in the mornings - In-house restaurant (we didn't eat there, but a nice feature)

Once I got in the room, I was relieved and comfortable. But getting there was stressful. Euclid, the road it is on, is all torn up and getting to the hotel seemed impossible.There weren't any signs or indication on how someone who is going to this hotel could enter from Euclid. I had to call the hotel and get directions around the mess. Once I got in, the front desk was extremely understaffed, the gentleman who waited on me was apologetic and handled the situation well. There was also constuction on in the front of the lobby. The valet was such a gentleman, I was so happy to get someone who spoke English well and helped me to my room. I thought the $16 charge for valet service was very high. Getting my car each day was awkward and the valet service seem irritated, and communication was difficult. But, I was alone at the hotel, and having the valet service was indeed safer than having to walk to a parking garage. The daily $10 charge for the internet was too high, for a pricey hotel, internet service should be part of the hotel fee. BUT, the room was an absolute dream. I slept very well, which is extremely important to me.

This is our 3rd visit to the hotel. Each time, we found our room clean, spacious, and comfortable. An excellent feature is its proximity to the Cleveland Clinic, for those who come for medical reasons. Also, the hotel restaurant offers decent food at reasonable prices. The selection is limited, but the quality is good. Overall, the hotel offers great value for the price.

My family enjoyed the suite, the location and the wonderful restaurant tip from the Front Desk. Also, the 'no smoking policy" is great--It smelled "fresh" and the windows even open slightly. However, the housekeeping dept was disappointing (we had to continually ask for decaf. tea and coffee; when our third party arrived, had to constantly ask for addt'l sheets for the sofa bed and only had two coffee cups; and then we encountered a toilet snafuu). We paid for valet + tip each time car was delivered, but we could see it from our window. But all said, it was a very nice suite, the employees were friendly and we will stay there again.

The InterContinental Suites Hotel in Cleveland was basically average. Was rather surprised by the lack of cooperation on the part of the hotel staff when asked for assistance in transporting from the RTA station to the hotel. The room was very hot with no way to effectively reduce the room temperature. The second time I stayed was in a very small room that had very inconvenient internet access, basically on a small bedside table that made use of the computer quite awkward. Found the coffee machine on the floor in the closet. During the first stay, I was in a suite that was much more comfortable and convenient. The room was quite clean and the bed was very comfortable during both stays. About average for hotel accommodations, but a bit less than expected for the cost.

Outstanding location! Friendly and attentive staff! I really appreciated the quiet setting. A bit stingy with the bath soaps, shampoo and conditoner. A great hotel in a great location, but not like a typical "Intercontinental". It's a nice property with plenty of strengths, but expect an "Embassy Suites" as opposed to an "Intercontinental" setting. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. It's a quiet hotel with a lot of guests who are patients at the clinic. If you're in the medical fields (or a patient) this shouldn't bother you, however, if you're looking for an uptown kind of hangout with a lively bar--you're not going to be happy. I was there on business for a conference in the medical field and really enjoyed the hotel and the setting. Get out and see Cleveland--it's an awesome place!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location but you pay for that. For the proice it should at least include a breakfast and parking plus they don't tell you anything and are not very helpful.

The hotel looked fairly new. The Staff was not friendly, but rather very cold, short and not helpful. This was true of nearly all the staff except for the manager of the restaurant. There is no parking only valet parking for $16/day. And the valet parking is in the lot next door. There was nothing within walking distance. The room was very dusty. However it was a very quite room. The bed was very good. The internet did not work in the room. There were panhadlers hitting me up for money at the front door. The staff did nothing to move them on. The valet staff has poor.

The suites were very nice - so much room. And the hotel was close to everything we wanted to do. We had a blast - and the price of the rooms were very reasonable. The road construction near the hotel was not so great - but we managed quite well in spite of it!

Extremely clean, large well designed rooms, pleasant valets and good rates. Check in staff was abrupt though not actively rude. To be fair, all other staff very professional. Highly recommend - safe in a fairly unsafe area, excellent value and well run.
