I had an excellent stay.Orbitz got me a 20% discount and since I am a member of the Intercon Club they still upgraded me to the Club floor. Staff was extremely good about making arrangements, finding things I wanted to buy, dining suggestions and car arrangements. Could not ask for more.

compared to the Crowne Plaza which is same chain and same price, this was dissapointing. carpets were worn, systems antiquated. food was also not that great. beds were very comfortable. most rooms are smoking. Crowne Plaza had excellent rooms, electronic privacy system etc. food was better.

Go every other year to Delhi and have stayed in a lot of the 5 star hotels there. Am making an effort to write about this one, as this one somehow left a mark of difference. Never needed to even go to the reception even once during my stay, it seems that they tracked my individual likes and dislikes and then remembered them.... don't know how... but it definately made me feel special. Great hotel... next time .... definately

This hotel is a very important find for me in Delhi. After I traveled so far to do business there, the InterContinental-Nehru Pace was the right place to work from. The rooms were great. The business center was a wonderful suprise ! Very good staff, very helpful, very quick. A joy. The public areas are very clean and I was, and will be I'm sure, to have this place as my home in Delhi. It was also right next to my Delhi office.

Well I first have to tell you that I've been spoiled by Dubai hotels...so it's hard for the rest of the area countries to measure up. Delhi has some outstanding hotels...at ridiculous prices. The best compromise I've found is the Intercontinental Hotel-Nehru Place. Two main restaurants...the chinese place is pretty good, albiet pricey, and the 24 hour restaurants isn't too bad. Doesn't seem like they have room service, which is a shame. Rooms. Flat screen TV's with good channels, high speed internet is actually high speed. Typical semi redone 80's style room, clean, functional. The air con is really musty, and when you first walk in the rooms they smell like cat pee. Service is outstanding, they are very helpful. Little mini bar in the room with some snacks. Only two bottles of "complimentary water" per day, which is not enough... One gripe....the hall of "merchants" on the way to the chinese restaurant downstairs. Like walking the gauntlet..."buy this, hello, Mr. Mr., etc, etc?....get enough of that on the street, don't need it in my hotel. Couldn't they put in a little store like other hotels that sell things like..say....water, batteries, magazines, etc.? Ya know the little shops that all hotels seem to have, except this one. No major complaints...but I guess with the intercontinental name, I was expecting more flash. However...compare it to the other hotels, and the prices tells you what the level is. Acceptable, reasonable, functional. Not a dive, not a luxury hotel, decent.

This HotelThe Intercontinentla NehruPlace is so gorgeous and welcoming. From the wonderful car park attendants, to the door men on into the huge lovely foyer so cool and lovely with enormous floral arrangements, one gets the immediate feeling of having arrived. They were very friendly and I was shown to my gorgeous and spacious from with a view as I requested. The room size and layout was perfect for me. There was ample cupboard and drawer space, two areas for sitting and working. The desk drawer had a roll of clear tape, small ruler, staples and stapler, all very helpful. The room was very clean and I was very relaxed and happy there. The temperature control was also very good. Room service was excellent though pricey. There is a great deal of great vegatarian fare. Even highlighted on the menu which was very helpful! The wine list was non existent in any listed form. There was a cryptic message telling me to ask about their wine list, so I had no idea as to what their list may be nor what the prices were. The local Cabernet was very good but VERY pricey. The room service servers were excellent! Very very friendly, happy and made it all special for me.I felt as though I were dining in a restaurant. The hotel amenities let me down in two areas. One was the lack of shops. There are, i believe 7 and all were small curio type shops. I needed a basic toiletry supply but this was not available any where near. The hotel is not set in an area where this is easy to get at shops. I was on a very heavy work schedule and had no time in the mornings or evenings to go hunting for basics. The other let down was the spa. I went down one Sunday evening when i had time off and inquired as to whether or not they had massage available and could I see their menu for such. I got very vague looks and was told there were no massage on Sunday. I hoped to still see what was on offer and waited and waited as the girl got on the telephone and ignored me as did her coloegue who stood near by lo
