very good hote, excelent location

Great location. Outside of building is horribly dated! I had an overall very positive experience at the Intercontinental. The location cannot be beat. The room was spacious with plenty of amenities. The decor, both inside an out, could use some updating. The pool was small, but very enjoyable. Clean, comfortable rooms. I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel accommodations, the staff, the service we can only equate it to the Ritz-Carlton experience. Fabulous location in the center of everything....the concierge is absolutely amazingly helpful about every single enquiry...they are there to make your stay a dream and answer every concern to the fullest. My husband and I are planning a longer stay in April...between the hotel service and comfort and the magnificent museum like city of Prague you only want to visit again....if your interest is Prague do not hesitate for a moment it will be a trip you would want to duplicate always. Just Perfect in every way.

Everything was extra internet, breakfast ... very expensive for Prague you can find better and cheaper

Brilliant location, health club, pool area. Sauna area very small, women/men separate. Very friendly staff, room meets 4star-level; but definitely not 5star.

"Stayed 4 nights. Great location, walking distance to all. Room was great. Upgraded upon arrival to room . If at all possible get this room. City view, river view, large, large, large. Club level great. Very attentive sttaff throughout hotel."

The staff was excellent. The rooms were bigger than I expected and had everything you need. The fitness center is awesome. The hotel location made it easy to walk to most areas in Prague. I would recommend this hotel

Excellent service. Old small rooms. The service in this hotel was up to 5 star standards, however the hotel rooms are in bad need of a renovation and not up to 5 star standards.

As a woman traveling alone, I was very, very happy with this hotel. I am a budget traveler, but was able to get a great hotel/airfare package through this site. The hotel is conveniently located near the Old Town Square and the other major attractions are within walking distance (the castle is a bit of a hike). The English-speaking staff was friendly and accommodating. I had several nice meals in the hotel cafe where they offer 1 hour of free wifi with the purchase of a drink or a meal (otherwise you are charged $20 an hour or $40 a day for access in your room). I booked tours to outlying areas through the hotel concierge. (One tiny complaint, the concierge failed to mention that while the tour company provides hotel pickup, they may not bring you back.) Overall, this was an outstanding trip made very comfortable by this full-service hotel. Highly recommended.

Very nice and clean great location. Did not like smoking in lobby, etc. May be a Prague thing. We had a wonderful time hotel is in an excellent location and staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The problem could be on their end. They were nice about it. Hope that they did not charge my credit card.

"This hotel was a little pricey, but worth it. Big room, nice bathroom, great location. Jewish Quarter and Old Town Square were right down the street. Prague is amazing. I highly recommend a visit!"

The InterContinental Praha is in a good location, within walking distance of everything in Prague. Good value for money. Room are spacious and comfortable

The staff was attentive and extremely helpful -- the rooms were excellent for Europe. Cost of the room service. I was pleasantly surprised by the intercontinental praha. Often times European hotels claim to be four or five star and they often fall short of American expectations. However, this hotel met and exceeded mine! The price was excellent. The location of the hotel could not be better; set along the river and just a few minutes walk from the heart of old town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague.

"we initially booked a standard room but upon arrival we upgraded to the club rooms. the room was the same size, but we were given the privilege of using an area which had computers, breakfast buffet and complimentary food and beverages. My husband particularly enjoyed the 'happy hour' they offered each night."

Centrally located to all the tourist spots and the room was wonderful.

Easy walking distance to major attractions, yet in a quiet location next to the Danube. The food and amenities were extremely expensive. This hotel was everything we expected: a first rate business class hotel, with all the amenities: luxurious linens (complete with a pillow menu!), perfect location near the metro and within walking distance to the major attractions and squares. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The only negative was (regarding of the declining us dollar) extras, such as telephone calls, use of the internet and movies, snacks, etc., were horrifically expensive.

This hotel is ideally located with beatiful river view rooms, and just a few minutes walk from the Old Jewish Quater and Old Town Square. My room was very modern, clean, and well decorated with flat screen tv and marble bath. The salt water indoor pool and hot tub are not to be missed. The entire staff from the front desk, bell, housekeeping, and resturant were all friendly and provided excellant service. I was offered an upgrade to their Intercontential Club, for a reasonable additional rate. The club is located on the 8th floor, and offers members a buffet breakfast, afternoon tea (goodies as well as sandwiches, soft drinks and fullbar), plus a happy hour from 6 to 8 pm offering hot hordeovours, and full bar. Additionly, there are two broadband computers for member's use. All in all, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Truly a five star hotel at a reasonable price.

Clean comfortable room and bed. Exterior of hotel is terrible and not consistent with historic Prague. You get a nervous feeling first approaching this hotel as the outside feels very 70's and old but the inside more than makes up for it and stands up to its 5-star rating.

The location was perfect, right near the Jewish quarter. The beds were amazingly comfortable, with a down featherbed and down quilt and pillows. The room and the bathroom were small. The hotel is very well located. The amenities are first class; with robes and down bedding. The beds were the most comfortable we ever slept in, with a down featherbed on top, and down blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again!
