Stayed three nights in a riverview club room (after being upgraded following a pretty poor standard king). Like similar writers, even being a ICH Priority Club Gold member meant nothing on check in (except in the upgrade part later...). The hotel is quite isolated from the rest of Perth, but if you have been to Perth many times for business it is a good change, with excellent facilities - even for business travellers. Only issue is ask for a room in the quiter section of the hotel as there can be a lot of noise due to the atrium just outside the door.

We are Priority Club members at the Intercontinental Hotels and have stayed in Vienna and Budapest at the Intercontinental Hotels but the Burswood was not up to standard in terms of customer service. The priority check in and out is very slow. Our beds were only turned down once in our 3 night stay and we did not receive our complimentary fruit and water with welcoming letter. Our luggage and car were not ready as requested before our check out. The hotel itself provides a good variety of entertainment and the lobby is lovely and spacious.
