The InterContinental Hotel Budapest offers 400 rooms on eight different floors. Of these 400, 144 rooms are double bedrooms and 16 are suites. The hotel recently was voted the Best New Hotel in the city.
The décor of the hotel is timelessly beautiful and seems to reflect the pastel colors found throughout the rest of the city. In addition to an onsite bar, café and restaurant, visitors can also look forward to large conference room (over 300 maximum capacity) as well as a fitness center, hair salon and swimming pool.

Castle View room worth every penny, absolutely fabulous at night. Nice, clean, rooms: furniture typical of Inter-Continental: king bed, table with 2 chairs, roomy dresser and closet. Big picture window framed a fabulous view of the river and castle on the other side from all floors. Great sidewalk cafe. 1 blk from chain Bridge. Friendly. helpful staff.

The Hotel Intercontinental in Budapest is situated in downtown Pest with beautiful views on the Danube and the hills of Buda. The club floor has exceptional views and offers complimentary drinks and snacks all day long. The gym and pool were under construction. The room was comfortable and we received fresh fruits daily. The staff was very friendly.

Excellent facilities, close to everything - perfect location. Nothing. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. An extremely clean and well located hotel, it provided everything a traveler could ask for at a good rate. Hotel staff was excellent and hotel is situated in a location where everything is near and transportation is to any part of the city could not be better.

We booked an executive club room on the 8th floor. We had a nice welcome and personal check in at the executive club. We were helped in booking train and excursion tickets, and enjoyed the cocktail hour on the 9th floor club with excellent views of Budapest. Great location and a very enjoyable stay!

The location relative to attractions in the city was perfect. The pool was under construction, the bar and restaurant was a little. expensive. I would say it was a great hotel. Drinking and food were a little expensive but I guess thats to be expected, also the pool was under construction. Other than that the facilities were very nice, the room and the view were excellent.

Very helpful staff, great location. Restaurant very pricy with only average quality compared to other Budapest restaurants. Very nice hotel for either business or pleasure. Very well situated to metro. Hotel restaurant very pricey compared to other nearby options. Wonderful views of the Danube, castle and other sites. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel at an awesome location. Food and beverage prices at the hotel were outrageous. This is a super nice hotel at an awesome location. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Strongly recommend it. Traveler tip: food and beverage prices at the hotel are high, but you can find very nice restaurants at affordable prices in the neighboring area.

The large rooms, cleanliness and comfortable beds. Everything in the hotel is extremely expensive. After a long trip in Europe this hotel was a great way to end our trip. The rooms were large and clean and the location was amazing. While the price of the hotel was reasonable. Between breakfast, internet use and a late night drink at the bar your bill could double by the end of your stay so watch out!

The location could not have been better. The hotel was not really tourist friendly. Overall, the Inter Continental Budapest was a great hotel in an amazing location, right on the Danube facing Buda. The only negative aspect of this hotel was its lack of tourist facilities, but that is understandable because it is a business hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers due to its wonderful location in this beautiful city.

Riverfront location with beautiful sights to see from the hotel. Smoking allowed in the lobby. This hotel is in a good location to take in many sights nearby. The tram stops in front. The "Pedestrian Area" is almost around the corner with squares, shops, restaurants etc.. Also, it is situated on the riverbank, so you can stroll along the promenade and enjoy the fabulous ambiance. I would stay there again if I wanted to be in Pest.

Excellent location, friendly staff, nice amenities. Charged for three outside calls I did not make( credited), the cleaning staff did not remove any dirty glasses or dishes--left them in the same spot. The hotel was a very nice, conveniently located with excellent views of the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle, staff was very accommodating arranging tours and obtaining concert tickets (for a 25% fee). Had discrepancies involving charges for outside calls and the breakfast, both situations were credited.
