The Intercontinental was a very busy hotel, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a family vacation to a hotel that obviously catered to the business side with the conference center next door but still the staff never neglected anyone. Access to shopping mall was very easy and tours available were very useful.

Great location adjacent to the COEX mall, which is convenient for great food and shopping. This is not a five star hotel, and should be downgraded to a four star.

The hotel is great! It's in business district of Seoul. The hotel is situated across a temple and COEX mall, The Kimchee Museum are right around the corner. Hyundai department store is about a block away. The Kal Limo also stops at the hotel so it's a nice and cheap way to get from the airport to the hotel (a taxi would cost a little more than $100 USD). Hotel was very clean and it provided great service to travellers. If you're a priority club member (hotel club membership), check out was at 2pm, instead of the normal 12noon. The only bad thing is that if you book through Travelocity, you don't get your points for your stay at the hotel. Just be aware that food at the hotel is VERY expensive. The dinner buffet was $50 USD, not worth it. My Soda cost me $8.50 USD. That was ridiculous!! If you wanted to go to the shopping districts, the hotel was too far away. Even by subway, I think it would take you about an hour to get to the shopping districts.

The service overall was excellent. Staff in general was very friendly. Internet service was pricey. This hotel is excellent for business and not too family friendly. If you're traveling with family, try its sister hotel, Grand Intercontinental Hotel on the other side of the block as it's closer to shops and events.

Lots of different power outlets, don't have to venture outdoors into the cold. Room was Smokey, bed was not comfortable. It was only a one night stay so I didn't bother but had they asked me at the front desk if I wanted a non smoking room I would of course have taken it. I thought I had said so in my reservation. The hotel itself is beautiful but the room looks a bit dated. The bathroom needs work; the lights make noise and the toilet needs jiggling. The smell of smoke was on my clothes the next day. But it's pretty convenient to the airport. And all the 120volt and 220volt outlet options were nice. It helped that the Coex Mall was part of the hotel as I was coming from a summer destination and only had summer clothing and had no interest in venturing outdoors since this was just a 24 hour lay over.

Large room and bath tab and shower booth. Nice view sky lounge but not good atmosphere. I think hotel needs better (warm) decorated' it looks very business hotel.

The location is great for a business traveler, all the people you need to see is near by or easy access. The check in desk needs to be more organized, internet in the rooms are expensive. This is a great hotel for location but that's it. The cost factor is too high for someone on a budget. I will be in Seoul in December. I will only stay here for 2 nights to conduct business and spend the other nights in nearby 4 star hotels. Not as big but the cost per night will be half and just as clean.

Clean, conveniently located, friendly, excellent facilities (lobby, gym pool, restaurant etc.). Room was rather small and deco/furnishing was minimal compared to Ritz Carlton, jaw Marriott, grand intercontinental in Seoul. The hotel was conveniently located near mall and subway station in central Kingman district. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall, the quality of the facility (lobby, restaurants, gym, pool etc.) Was excellent, though my room was rather small and Spartan. Room furnishing/decor was below par compared to those of other 5-star hotels in the area such as Ritz Carlton, jaw Marriott, grand intercontinental in Seoul. This is an ideal hotel for business travelers.

Great location and incredible staff. Great hotel. Outstanding location with access to the Coex mall and subway station. Swanky and classy yet still comfortable. Large rooms with great tubs.
