The hotel also provides complimentary use of all public transportation, from Nuremberg to Fuerth. The Nuremberg airport is about 15 minutes away.

There are two types of newly renovated rooms at the Intercityhotel Nurnberg, the standard plus and business plus. The difference between standard plus and business plus room types is the location. Standard rooms are facing the south side and are overlooking the Main Railway Station, and the business plus rooms are facing the north into a more quiet road serving as gateway to the hotel. The newly renovated 32 rooms on the 5th floor are equipped with new carpets, curtains, stores and air conditioning.

Amenities at the Intercityhotel Nurnberg include a bistro with a breakfast buffet, conferencing rooms for business travelers along with modern technology and a banqueting area that can seat up to 90 people. Visitors also get complimentary use of the nearby Fitness Company health center, where they can use exercise equipment and enjoy various sauna facilities. This is a three-star hotel.
