No lounge chair in room. Desk chairs are very uncomfortable. Internet access is very expensive at $18. Yet it is almost unusable. 15% packet drop and 10 kpbs upload speed. Skype is impossible.

Have to agree with the business traveler who said he reserved a rate at 259 only to have it jump to 276 - simply dishonest. I am here for over a week and the overall impression is the hotel is, at most, a three star facility. A full service Marriott is right nearby - strongly recommend going that route.

Great place but when we got there they informed us that we had to pay for an obligatory $24 per day (that included Internet)... it's not bad but the way they impose this to you think is not absolutely nice... Amazing restaurants inside the Hotel ! some of the best in Mexico City for sure. Great hotel, great location, great views, amazing service... downside, bit old shower hardware, the hidden charges and a bit overpriced items (like a $6 single can of soda)...

Nice and secure place. Expensive restaurant.

My daughter and I were to stay 4 nights in March 2009. This hotel was swarming with families and kids everywhere. The room smelled like mold. The food was mostly buffet and horrible and even the martinis at the Sushi and Martini restaurant t were awful. We checked out the next day. This is not place to try to relax with all the kids. Unless you have little ones, don't go her.

We pre-paid our hotel fee through the internet, checked in and were told that everything was already pre-paid. When we were checking out, we were charged 191 pesos (about 18 U.S. dollars) for a daily hotel fee. This fee was not included in their advertised rate, but were told that everyone has this fee tacked on for every day of their stay. They were very understanding and stated that the problem was with Travelocity, not with them, but finally refunded my money. Beware: they are going to charge you the hotel fee, so make sure to take it into account when comparing hotel costs. I think this is a really deceptive practice. Otherwise, the hotel is a nice place to stay with nice restaurants and a good location.

Good location. The hotel charged a 20 dollar per night internet fee. Good hotel in Mexico City, great location. The only bad thing is that at check out time they charged me a 20 dollars per night internet fee. This fee was not for using the internet at the hotel.

Had confirmed rate of 259 at reservation, but rate was 276 at check-in. Stayed 2 weeknights; 2nd night rate climbed to 319/night. With tax that is over 400/night.Thought breakfast might be included in a rate like that. Wrong. 25/person extra for nice breakfast.Wireless internet was not working first 36 hours, so couldn't get e-mail done.Rooms were neat but bathroom/sink facilities tacky and worn. Definitely NOT what a business traveller will expect for this kind of price.

The Hotel was an excellent hotel. Great rooms, very clean and well decorated. Same for the Hotel. Very spacious hotel. Some small lamps in light fixtures were burned out. The room got hot after you left due to the South facing windows and the fact that the A/C turns off when you leave the room. Close the curtains to keep it cooler. Very quiet. The only real complaint is that they charge you for any bottled water you use. Bottles water is a necessity if you have not been there frequently.

Clean, beautiful rooms and very attentive staff. A little hard to tell where it is coming at night from the metro line. Very nice, comfortable hotel in the beautiful Polanco neighborhood in Mexico City. Perfect for the weary business traveler.

Spent two nights there Sept30-Oct2, business trip. Left items in the closet of my room at check out, was late for a final day of meetings. Amazingly, when I called later that same day to tell them I had left stuff in my room they told me house cleaning reported nothing and my clothes etc had vanished from the room!!!! BTW: It took them 4 days to tell me that!! I mean how can something vanish from a locked room within 3-4 hours of leaving it???? I will not stay there again. Nicco and The W are within walking distance and much better options.Plus, there is no air conditioning!!! The thermostat is on the wall but no air!!!

We were visiting just for recreation. This Hotel met all our needs. However, it really is geared towards the business traveler. I didn't notice any Family friendly features. Located in a very nice neighborhood. The staff was very helpful. My language is English and the staff all spoke it well. Hotel is near several nice restaurants. Also there's a Cantina nearby and 2 Starbucks both within 1 block.

This is a beautiful hotel in a prime location with modern interior and great views. The beds are hard and pillows are uncomfortable but the linens are great. The rooms are modern and comfortable, except the beds were too hard for our taste but we prefer soft beds. Ask for a room overlooking Campo Marti- that's the side with the best view. What we did not appreciate was that the hotel tried to charge an $18 per room per night resort fee for Internet usage, 3pm checkout and something else that we did not use. We complained about it because we had specifically asked if there were any extra charges at check-in and they told us that there weren't. The hotel waved the charges.

It had excellent restaurants and a beautiful view and a pleasant staff. It had an atmosphere of rich and snobby, for the people you have to do business with at the front desk and the security is excellent but over bearing.

Excellent vacation. Hotel services were great. Booked all tours via hotel concierge a la carte each day and had a marvelous time. Restaurants were excellent and good value for money.

Great location, great views, rooms almost as nice as Holiday Inn. Great location with breathtaking views of city and park. The rooms are clean with flat screen TVs. The bedding was upscale, but the bed was hard.Hotel tries to rip you off at every turn. $18/night hotel fee for use of internet, local calls, things that should be free. There is a seating fee at the restaurants. Fine hotel, but horrible customer experience.

Very nice lobby, good atmosphere at the lobby bar at night. Excellent location. Ask for a high floor facing the Chapultepec park. Air conditioning was not working properly.
