For our second Toronto trip we chose to stay in upscale Yorkville. The hotel was terrific and the location could not have been more convenient. The ROM is directly accross the street and may excellent cafes are in the upscale neighborhood behind the hotel.

excellent facilities for someone looking for a quiet hotel/close to shopping, galleries, museums and restaurants in one of the Toronto's best areas

Very nice hotel.Toilet in our room was shaking. We were promised 2 double beds but when we got there ,none was available. This way they sold us a single bed for $25.00 a nite!!!Thats why none was available!!The staff generally were polite but 1 guy orient guy was rude and did not pay attention to what I was saying.

They upgraded us to a suite because the room was not ready. Good service. They have smoking rooms. Great hotel. Checked in at 6 pm when check in was at 3 pm. They told me my room wasn't ready. They upgraded me to a suite because they did not have my room ready. They were sold out the night before so if the day I arrived they were sold out as well then I wouldn't be available for an upgrade. Should be a little bit more organized. Aside from that everything was great.

I asked kindly at the front desk if I could have a softer pillow. She went on-and-on about how their pillows were 'world renown' and she didn't think there were any others, but she would look. I got two more hard pillows.

Went for our honeymoon, started in Niagara Falls. Was promised one free day for registering on [...] but never received it....had to pay for the third day.....don't understand...maybe laterfor the free day??? Hotel staff was excellent but housekkeping left something to be desired. Bathroom amenities missing like hand cream, conditionner...etc. cheap toilet paper...hug.

Very elegant. Not exactly in the center of the city. A beautiful and elegant hotel with friendly staff, and came with a great price from priceline!

Location on subway line, and close to cultural and shopping amenities. Originally given a smoking room, and had to request room change.

We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again. Our room was spacious, attractively decorated, and comfortable, with a good view. Great location, with shopping just steps away. The concierge was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and booking reservations. [...], right around the corner, was excellent. She suggested we visit The Distillery, a complex of building including restaurants, galleries, and shops, which we enjoyed. We didn't eat in the dining room, but the hotel bar serves good appetizers and drinks.

Close to everything we wanted to do in Toronto. Construction next door; partying in area where sound carried to 6th floor. Staff checked in with us to be sure we were happy. Great staff; planning blip was corrected.

The room and staff. Location too far from my conference, paying for internet. Comfortable and clean hotel in good shopping area, near museums. it is not in the main downtown area and is a distance from the waterfront, Union Station, CN tower, Rogers Center etc.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Location was good. A bit out of the way for downtown business. The Intercontinental feels like a small (older) boutique hotel but has all the amenities of a larger chain. Rooms are good, comfortable, bathroom was great with separate tub and shower.
Date of Stay:
March, 2009
Location. No spa on premises. Met all expectations.
