This is a great hotel! This was our first visit to Warsaw and we chose to stay as western as possible. They did not disappoint. I want to especially recognize the concierge. My mother wanted me to find her parents home town. I knew the name but nothing else. The concierge looked all towns by that name in the country and gave us the details, very accomodating! We also rec'd great references for restaurants within walking distance. He asked about our price points and food desired and was very helpful. We enjoyed his upbeat attitude and willingness to help! Great job!

This is my favorite hotel in Warsaw. Very modern, large rooms and best of it is the pool on the 43rd floor with a great view over the city.

The location is very central with respect to downtown, but it is about a 25 minute walk to the "Old City", which is north of the center. Unlike the old city, this part of town has no charm and is very "Sovietic"--you really feel like you're on the other side of the iron curtain--but this is more Warsaw's problem than that of this hotel in particular. Our rate was very low, and we were upgraded to an "apartment", which was large, if oddly shaped. It had the amenities you'd expect from an international 5-star hotel, and the bathroom was particularly nice, with a separate tub and shower. However, things were a bit worn: TVs relatively old (not flat screen), bed not as firm or stable as you might hope, drains a bit slow. For the rate we paid (less than $90), the overall deal was good. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was the interaction with the staff. The concierge was rude and made us wait for a long time to get simple walking directions, even though there was no demand for his services. An agent at the front desk interrupted a discussion between my traveling companion and me in order to interject his opinions. At the top floor, when we went to check out the fitness club, the simple question, "Is there a pool?" prompted the employee at the entrance to start lecturing about how we couldn't enter dressed as we were and need to go change. We didn't have many needs or reasons to deal with staff, and it was problematic that the few times we need help, they were not trained to live up to basic standards courtesy.

When we were checking in, the hotel staff asked for a credit card to pay for our stay. When I informed them that I had booked through Priceline.com and that the room was already prepaid, they disagreed and insisted that we hadn't and that the credit card was for guaranteeing the room only. Several staff members tried to assist, but their answer was the same: we had to pay for the room. At the end, we waited while they call reservation, and only then were they able to confirm that the room had in fact been prepaid. Their lack of knowledge of Priceline did not bother us. It was their attitude - it was downright condescending. We felt as though they were silently accusing us of trying to get the room stay for free. It was definitely not five-star service, and a disappointment as no matter how nice the room, it didn't make up for our initial impression of the hotel staff.

Great location, very nice lobby and guest bathrooms. Cleanliness of some of the gym facilities and had to wait long for amenities brought to the room. Great location and room was very comfortable.

Buffet breakfasts, location. High cost of massage, internet and other services. Good location, safe clean. On the downside the cost of internet, massage and other services is absurdly high. No reason these services can not be provided at a reasonable cost to the business traveler.

Spa, pool and breakfast. Mold in shower, beds little small. The hotel is spectacular in architecture, convenient location.

Cool rooms. Nice linens, beds, and bathroom. $35 a day for internet access? Got to be kidding. Very nice hotel. Solid 4-stars, nothing to deserve 5 stars. Crummy old TV with only a couple English channels. Hotel bar was in dungeon-like room on the first floor with no view. No free airport shuttle.

Nice fitness center on the top panoramic floor. Cell phone calls on hotel phones more expensive. Nice 5 star hotel and clean and parking
