I didn't know what to expect from on-line hotel/air packages. This was my fikrst, and I certainly was pleased. The flights had excellent connections and friendly staff. The hotel was immaculate and inviting. The room was huge and had a wonderful white comforter i an immaculate bed. Great buffet for breakfast.

Great for my wife's first trip to NYC on her big birthday. Hotel is isolated from busy areas and we walked/or short cab ride everywhere we wanted in Manhattan. We walked to all shopping up 5th & 6th Aves, Madison Ave, and to Central Park. We walked to Times Square, but it is far enough away from that craziness to provide a quite night sleep. It is real close to Grand Central Station/subway we used to go to Staten Island and Bronx (Yankee Stadium) very easily. Hotel was very clean, they were touching up paint - good to see it being maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Our room was larger than anticipated. Had no problem getting early check in and holding our bags for late departure. My wife loved the hotel and location, we'd go again and recommend to friends/family.

This trip was a High School Graduation present for my daughter. We met my niece in NYC and she stayed with us. The Hotel was exactly what we wanted. The flight was delayed @ JFK, can't really help that, but it was exhausting. The one complaint I have was the shuttle service. It was crowded and dirty. The driver from the hotel to the airport crowded too many people and too much luggage in. Other than that the trip was great. Thanks!

Arrived early and front desk offered to hold our bags until our room was ready. After informing the desk we were seeing a 2 o'clock show, they asked us to check back at 12:30 for our room. The room was ready and was very clean. I am even writing a letter to the GM praising front desk employee [...] - he was very helpful, courteous and even remembered my name three hours later. Now that is service!

The hotel was lobby was beautiful & elegant. All staff was very professional and friendly. The concierge service was exceptional. We did all sightseeing based on the advice of the concierge. Location of the hotel was awesome; just a short walk to Rockefeller center, Chrysler Building and Grand Central station. Overall, we loved everything about the hotel and would abosolutely recommend it to friends and family and would most defintely stay there again.

Lobby was clean and nice. Room hallways were nice. Lobby staff all seemed up happy with an attitude. Hotel was nice and in good location. But hotel staff all had attitude and all seemed up happy to be there. No one greeted me or said hello. Concierge was just as bad.

Overall, the stay was fine. Not too much 'wow' factor, but satisfactory. Staff were polite but stand-offish. I liked the extra pillows of a different style provided in the rooms; the extra set were more to my personal liking than the standard issue, but I liked having the choice. Free wifi would have been handy, but in NYC that's asking a lot I guess...sigh. Really close to the subway. Overall, i'd stay there again..

Awesome staff. Nothing, it was terrific. Great staff. Helpful and friendly. We had a car with us (which is always fun in New York) and they had a great system for valet parking with a flexible pick up time on the last day of the stay.

We enjoyed the stay except for the fact that the bathroom was not clean. We asked to have it cleaned while we were out.It was not.It was finally cleaned after asking at 11:00PM.Staff member(cleaner was very friendly)

The lobby was beautiful and the bell service was friendly. The front desk staff seemed to be a little snobby since we booked on priceline. Don't know if they treat all guests that way. It has comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and good showers. I think it would be 4 stars if it had a pool/sauna/jacuzzi on site, but it did not.

Something you should know before staying here. You would think that after you already paid for your room through Orbitz you would be done paying for the hotel or only have to pay the usual $100.00. not the case here. I arrived at the hotel where they promptly asked for my credit card. I asked what would be charged and they said $100.00 per night. So if you stay a week they will be charging you $700.00 dollars on top of the several hundred you already paid. If you have a budget this wont work. I ended up having to eat room service every day because they took all my spare money I had brought for eating,Site seeing etc. This I think is a really horrible way to run a hotel not to mention it ruiened my entire trip. I had to stay inside the hotel the entire time because I didn't have money to do anything else.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, close to tour buses, grand central Station and 5th Avenue. The hotel was clean and the lobby was always nicely decorated. However check in was a lengthy process. We had to wait over 15 to 20 minuets to check in as there was only one person on duty, and a long line of people waiting. When we asked if there could be someone else to help we were told NO there was no one else!! We got there in the morning and were only able to check in to our room after 3.30 pm but they did let us place our suitcases in a secure room. The basin in our room did not drain properly, we did mention this but it took until our last day to be fixed. This holiday was over the New Year weekend, so perhaps that is why we had these problems. otherwise we were happy with the amenities and hotel it self.
