For the price, you could not expect anything less, although the quality is nowhere near other international 5-star hotels. For example there was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee. The room meal rates were way out of proportion compared to local costs. Bottle of water was $26 pesos! Hotel staff at the check in and check out counter were arrogant and stand-offish. Check-in staff never offered advice or instruction on room amenites. In room internet service was expensive. When you think that you pay extra for business suite that Internet should be included. And at that high cost, breakfast was not included. I would definitly NOT stay at this hotel again nor recommend this hotel to any of my business associates.

Consistency even in the people/service factor accross the entire stay. Intercontinental club floor lounge was only open from 6 - 8 pm in the evening.

I recently took a vacation with my husband and we stayed at the InterContinental Buenos Aires. The location is great and located close (walking distance) to some of the major attractions. We decided to upgrade to the Club Level. The rooms are very spacious, and clean. We enjoyed breakfast an afternoon drink in the lounge (club level). The hotel is staff is very friendly and helpful. I typically do not dine in a hotel restaurant, however, we had a steak dinner in the restaurant and sat outside. Really a great experience. Hope to return next year!

Central location, but not comfortable walking around at night alone. Good food, great service, comfortable, spacious rooms. Great place to see and be seen... ask concierge about catching a futbol game in Boca!

We were disappointed in the hotel - not quite the standard of Australian Intercontinental Hotels in hospitality and service. The breakfast next morning was cold and soggy. One staff member was quite good, but the remainder were very cool. The standard was nowhere as good as Australian Intercontinental hotels. Very disappointing overall.

The hotel itself is nice. They are in the process of upgrading their rooms. The upgraded rooms have nice hardwood floors. The other have worn carpeting. The immediate surrounding area left a little to be desired, and I wouldn't reccomend walking around it at night unless you were in a group. During the day it isn't as bad. It is walking distance from Casa Rosada, Avenida Florida, and Cafe Tortoni. The Boca Juniors Soccer club stays here the night before games. So be ready for a lot of activity the day before, and the day of the games.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The location is nothing to write home about. Area seems to be safe, but more industrial than entertaining. You ""can"" walk to Calle Florida (about 5 blocks), but it puts you on the one end of the street (thus, if you are walking and shopping down the street to the other end, plan on taking a cab back to the hotel). Good for business travelers (free wireless in lobby, and paid highspeed in the room), or those who want a nice clean place to stay.
