I paid ~130US for the room. It was ok. Like lots of so-called luxury hotels it appeared nice, but the details are lacking. Leaky vessel sink faucet and bathtub wand, caulking was old, etc. It was decent but kind of out of the way for any after-hours entertainment/dining.

Friendly management and staff. Excellent service. Outstanding rooms and restaurant. Outstanding location. I am a frequent visitor, 4 times last year, 2 in the present year. I think some provisions should be give to price reduction to frequent visitors. Outstanding facility. I resided at this hotel 4 times last year and 2 time this year. I visit with my future wife here, a very selective plastic surgeon, and it is a excellent hotel. The staff recognizes us each time, and extends a warm welcome. Each remembers our names and immediately welcomes us which makes us feel very welcome and at home. Outstanding rooms, excellent staff and management. I will most likely continue to stay at this hotel. I will make reservations at least 3 more times this year.

I agree with the others, get a club room, which includes free breakfast and afternoon tea for free. Extremely attentive staff that speaks English very well. Concierge is very good. Location is in the financial district just west of the center of town. Facilities were first rate, as good as any in the states. The club rooms were nice design with plasma TVs, very modern, bathrooms with marble and glass. The club floor breakfast was better than going out for breakfast or ordering room service. The place was very quiet. Lots of Americans and Europeans stayed here. Spa was professional. The only store in the area is Parksons department store. Westin's across the road had a great Cuban Cigar store. They built this hotel for westerners and it shows. I would say that staying at this hotel made my Beijing experience better.

The attention paid to our comfort was exceptional. It was too far to walk for sight seeing. The hotel was very clean, the attention to detail was wonderful, and the staff was very efficient, kind, and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice. The restaurants were a pleasant experience for first time Cantonese diners.

"This hotel is fantastic for business travellers. The service, and English is amazing as well. Make sure you get an Executive Club Level room. Our rate included the breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, and snacks all throughout the day. You also get free wireless internet access at the club lounge. Our room had a flat screen and its own DVD player. There is not much around the hotel, but within walking distance to a subway stop, and taxis are inexpensive anyway (so it did not matter too much)."

The Intercontinental Financial Street, Beijing, China is an excellent facility. All hotel personnel were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The latter includes all hotel amenities; front desk, room service, concierge, restaurant, health and fitness facilities and the individuals coordinating the taxis and limos. I had stayed at this hotel before, and chose it for my last trip. Each time I had two rooms and each was very comfortable, excellent view and the room was large. Most likely we will stay here in the future. There was a large bath tub with two means of obtaining running water, one filling the tub the other for personal showering. The shower was large and also provided two water outlets. There was a mall within walking distance, and numerous dining facilities to include my favorite, a Hot Pot restaurant. The buffets, morning and evening, were elegant and the food delightful. I particularly enjoyed the variety of fresh fruits, crab legs, and the desserts. The meats were individually prepared and cooked to order. All in all, I would rate this hotel as one of the most comfortable and pleasing that I have resided in. My overall rating, OUTSTANDING.

Fabulous rooms, very modern & clean, staff were excellent. Construction a little noisy, but did not spoil my stay. Everything you need for a very special trip to Beijing, the staff was so fantastic and met all our needs. Beautiful rooms very modern decor. Our stay in Beijing was totally the best.
