I enjoyed my stay until the day that we left. Within one hour, while we were trying to get ready, two different people opened the door and didn't say anything, and shut the door. The first time I was in the shower and heard the front door shut, then while getting ready they barely knocked, opened the door, I asked "is that you?" to my boyfriend on the other side of the room, they opened it and then they shut the front door without saying anything. We had spoken with the front desk about a late check out for 1pm, but this was at 11am. Maybe they need to communicate better about checkouts.

Very convenient access to all attractions. The pool was not accessible. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was attractive and the staff was very helpful. We could walk to all downtown attractions and we were minutes away from the train station. A great location for us.

This is a beautiful & classy hotel located very near the Toronto waterfront and steps from the Rogers Centre. I think it does attract a lot of fans going to games... however we were never bothered by loud or boisterous fans. Our service was wonderful from the valet, the conceirge and the front desk staff. We were pointed in the direction of great restaurants and were always greeted with a smile. Very nice rooms, plush and cozy. The views could have been a bit nicer, but oh well. The only downside of the hotel was the very small pool with very limited seating/lounging area. I would have loved to try the spa but all slots were booked, so I would encourage you to book an appt ahead of your arrival. An all-around great stay!

Beautiful room and view (TO harbor); proximity to entertainment; helpful staff. The Intercontinental Toronto is in a perfect location for downtown entertainment - cultural and sports. The beautiful, modern decor of rooms, restaurant, and lobby provided a most attractive setting for our weekend. Every staff member who assisted us did so in a willing and extremely pleasant manner. We look forward to returning.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. But I stayed there for one night and was charged for three. I phoned, e-mailed, even went there in person to get it sorted out. A month later there has been no resolution. Get everything in writing when checking in or you may just get ripped off like I did.

This was our first time to Toronto and this was one of the cheaper downtown hotels available at the time of our booking, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. The floor we were on (17th) was recently renovated and had nice carpets, beds, flat-sreen tv, etc. We were in town for just one night to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame, and the hotel is only a short walk from it, maybe 3 blocks. Other than that we had nothing planned, so we asked the concierge for suggestions of restaurants and attractions and they were extremely helpful. We had a lakeside room, but the view of the lake was obstructed by buildings. You could see the CN Tower, which was nice, but there was a train junction and roundhouse scarring up the ground below it. I would recommend the city side if you have the option. The parking cost $23, which is kind of expensive, but not unusual for the city. If you're traveling in by other means, this obviously won't be an issue.

I was very disappointed with the room service. I recieved lousy mushroom soup. It was so terrible I felt myself gaging so I had to leave it be. Then my salad was yellow! All for the price of 43.00! Could not believe, one meal cost 43.00. In all my life, I have traveled all over the world & never had a worst experience. However, the icing on the cake is that they made me pay half the cost of this awful meal. Knowing full well that I didnt eat most of it. Typically I never find the need to complain over a complete meal, but this was the first and I thought sure they would have compensated me more reasonably. Unreal, wont be back and have told my family and friends to stay and the Chelsea to enjoy a much better 4-5 star experience.

Location. Hallway carpet leading to our room was dirty. Overall not too bad would stay again but eat else were. Dining at the hotel restaurant (Azure )was extremely expensive.

due to a power outage the hotel lost electricity, however emergency power allowed one elevator to run. we were checking out at the time and needed to get our luggage in our room onthe 12TH floor, the staff told us on several occasions that there were no elevators running ,after waiting 2 hours until power was restored,we learned that an elevator was in operation for VIP"s,I guess if you are over 65 your not a VIP.

I ended up staying at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre for three nights, we moved to a club room for the last night as we unexpectedly extended our stay. I would recommend the club rooms in heart beat. Very convenient to entertain friends, and having a separate bedroom is quite convenient. We ate in Azure on our last night and had an AMAZING meal, definitely one of the highlights. The only complaint I have is regarding our initial check-in. The process lasted about 20 minutes and the hotel clerk didn't seem to understand their computer system, which was frustrating after a long day of travel, otherwise this is a beautiful hotel and absolutely wonderful for a romantic getaway.

Great location and price. Good view over the city. Valet parking price 32. Normal parking 23$ (but for 24h). Very good and high standard. Clean and super friendly service on reception and concierge (dial 0) Excellent facilities.

"The entire hotel is awesome /inviting, the staff was courteous/prompt. Toronto is friendly- although most were visitors (little help directions). We managed since locations are walking distance/quick train ride. Skip the $30+ taxi/shuttle and take a $2.50 train ride to union station, which is two blocks from the hotel. The Azure has nice d?r, but the food needs improvement. The local restaurants and room service are great! The nightlife was excellent! DJ?s played ole school & r&b to pop & house, my Sis and I, danced until 4 am. Enjoy the fitness center and beautiful pool/Jacuzzi, as well! "

The Intercontinental was very comfortable. The service was excellent and the bar and dining areas were delightful. The fitness center was easily accessible and contained very up-to-date equipment. It was clean, also, never had to wait to utilize any of the equipment. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better as it was connected to the Convention Center where the business meetings were held.

Proximity to subway. Front desk was either under renovation or needed a few minor repairs - didn't pay enough attention to distinguish. Excellent experience.
