This centrally located self catering accommodation was excellent. Being situated on the Royal Mile it made it perfect for exploring the centre of Edinburgh. The only problem was it was very noisy at night and really did not go quiet until around 2.00am. The appartment is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The bedroom has a lovely large bed which is extremely comfortable and the lounge has a sofa bed, the mattress on this is a little thin. Krys met us on time and could not have been more helpful. If you want to visit St mary's Close you need to book in advance. Buying an all inclusive ticket for all tour buses, the castle, Royal Yacht Britannia and Holyrood castle was excellent value and best of all no queuing.

Best location in town!We stayed at Fleshmarket Close apt for 3 days. The location is really the best, it is so close from the train station and the major attractions. There are eateries, shops, supermarkets etc. right outside the doorstep. Flat was clean, neat, kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended.

Weekend in EdinburghGreat place to stay. Went with 3 girl mates and had a brill time. Very good value for money and near all main attractions. The castle is just at the top of the road. It had a kitchen with washing machine and you could cook there if you wanted to. The photos of the appartment were not completly the same quality as the appartment itself but very good value for money. I would go there again!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND INNERCITYLETS - Exremelly disappointed - VERY Poor securityAppartment was unclean and not ready on arrival for starters. The security was very worrying, basically it was a steel gate with key access that was left open most of time. The internal staircase was dark and with the gate left open anybody could be hiding. The door to the flat was also an issue with a poor fitting yale lock. Final comment, the description of the apartment on the website is missleading.I know most people take these reviews with a pinch of salt, but I want to make sure you all appreciate that the security is a HUGE issue for me.

Amazing location and great value for money. Perfectly located for the castle and Princess Street. This accomodation was perfect. Couldn't be happier.

great little apartment - fantastic location

Excellent central location, literally 2 minutes from the train station. Can be a little noisy if staying on a weekend, the windows are triple glazed but you can still hear the drunken ones walking down the street wailing at 2am! The entrance door and stairway look (and smell) a bit scary but beyond the apartment door it is as shown on the photographs. All equipment and amenities are provided and there is a shop just around the corner for the essential food bits. Good value for money. I went for a hen do / girls weekend and it was ideal so would use it again for this purpose, not really the place for couples though.

Long weekendPerfect for groups wanting to see the city on foot as very central. Beds were comfortable and all linen, crockery etc was very clean and in good condition. Heating, hot water and shower worked. Noisy boiler in one nedroom though. Would class it as high end student accommodation - basic but all you need.

query star rating of accommodationOur main problem with this flat was that it was advertised as a four star luxury apartment and it was not. If it had been advertised as a three star we would not have rented it. We found the entrance to the flat unsafe, a grill on the door to a concrete stairwell that was not always shut by other occupants of the flat left us feeling unsafe so much so that we went to a hotel instead.

Thistle Street LoftAn amazing location, yards from George Street. Fantastic for groups of friends. Downside for a family is having to carry all the luggage up the many flights of stairs. There wasn't a plug in the bath so could only use the shower. You can park outside the apartment from 6.30 pm until 8.30 am the next morning for free and then move your car to a multi storey which we found to save money.

Central but noisy!Good location , yards from the Royal Mile. Inevitably noisy but this could be minimised by better soundproofing. Good facilities. Keep an eye on security - the gated entrance doesn't always shut.

All mod consThe apartment was lovely .It had all the mod cons like a dishwasher and washing machine and was very clean and tidy when we arrived.It is in a prime position .All the shops,pubs and sights were never far away.We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to return soon.

Fab location right on the Royal Mile with loads of oubs and restuarants close by. Only thing was lock on bathroom door didnt work - which was bit difficult with big gropu of us staying there!! Ignore the entrance staiwell the apartment is amazing with modern decor! Def stay again!

Stayed 3 bedroom flat overlooking the Royal Mile. Great location. Great for family (we have 3 small children). The management was very cooperative as they let us drop off our luggage early and also allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout so we were able to avoid the storage fee at the train station. We plan on staying here again during our visit this summer.

Fab accomodation!!!!! Great location. Has been done out to a high spec. Much better than a hotel room as you have the benefits of a lounge and kitchen too! Would defo reccomend this accomodation was perfect!!!
