The Inn at Playa del Rey is located just three blocks from the Pacific and five minutes from Los Angeles International Airport. Downtown Los Angeles is 20 minutes east, Beverly Hills and Hollywood 20 minutes northeast, and Disneyland and Universal Studios are less than an hour away. Restaurants, shops, parks and a wide beautiful beach are all within walking distance. Rates at the inn include a full homemade breakfast, evening wine and hors d oeuvres, afternoon tea and cookies, bicycles for riding along the oceanside 30 mile bike path, guest computer use with internet access, free videos, and ample on site parking. What are your breakfast options?: We serve a complimentary breakfast every morning for our guests from 7:30am until 10:00am. If they prefer to go out, there are two restaurants on the block that serve breakfast every morning, Cafe Milan and Senor G's. On weekends Bistro du Soleil (also within walking distance) serves brunch.
What transport is available to get around?: While it is possible to use the bus system to get around Los Angeles, it can be a little complicated. We recommend either using taxi services (United Independent Taxi) or renting a car (there are many options that are close to the airport and provide shuttles).
What can I do nearby?: Since the hotel is within the city limits of Los Angeles, we would consider all the attractions of LA near the hotel. We are walking distance to the beach and a short drive from Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Marina del Rey, Culver City, El Segundo and Manhattan Beach. Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles are approximately 30 minutes drive from the Inn.
Do you have internet?: The inn does have wireless internet in the hotel (and all the rooms) at no charge.
