The Inn at Middleton Place is tucked away among tall evergreens and oaks on a high steep bank overlooking the Ashley River. The inn has notable architectural features, and has won the American Institute of Architects highest award. The Inn at Middleton Place is within short driving distance to the Charleston International Airport.

Unique features in the guestrooms at the Inn at Middleton Place include complimentary gift baskets and floor to ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. The plantation shutters add to the ambiance. Rooms are furnished with refrigerators, and the bathrooms have huge 150-gallon tubs. Guests appreciate the marble baths. Some rooms have wood-burning fireplaces. Decor is kept to a minimum to fit the natural setting. Rollaways are provided upon request (a surcharge applies).

What are your breakfast options?: Our Healthy Start Breakfast is included with your stay and that is a deluxe continental breakfast. Hot items are available for purchase and made to order. Breakfast takes place at our Lake House each day from 7:00am to 10:00am.
What transport is available to get around?: From our property's location to the points of interest, having a vehicle of your own would give you the most freedom. The only other way off property is by taxi. However, if you plan on spending most of your time here on the grounds of Middleton Place and just going Downtown for a day, it might be easier for you to get a taxi and ride public transportation when downtown.
What can I do nearby?: Passes to tour the historic landmark Middleton Place (both the Gardens and House Museum) are included. There is also a complimentary manager's reception in the evening consisting of beer, wine, and hors d'ouevres for all guests.

Regarding entertainment there are plenty of places to go in downtown Charleston in the evenings. For instance, dinner cruises are especially popular and there are many restaurants in downtown Charleston as well.
Do you have internet?: There is no internet service in our rooms here at the Inn at Middleton Place, however, there is wireless available at two locations on our property. Those are the Lake House and the Lodge and it is free of charge.
