Perfect location for visiting student who attends college in Lincoln Park. Dining and shopping especially convenient. Proximity to lakeshore access cannot be beat!

We saw two games at Wrigley Field, awesome experience. We were able to get scalped tickets for not much over face value gameday. Wrigleyville was a blast! Enjoyed biking the lake front, the JAzz Fest, and Chicago Pizza. Lincoln Inn was about a 15 min walk to Wrigley, but a bus ride to anywhere else-- Navy Pier, downtown, ect. Very small room, but clean, with good breakfast, parking, and staff.

We were very excited to get away..after many hours of research and 3 hours driving we arrive at the Inn at Lincoln Park. The entry seemed pleasant, and from the reviews I had already read I expected to have a average size room(nothing spectacular for one night).WE COULDNT EVEN OPEN THE DOOR TO THE ROOM because it was so close to the bed(the room was about the size of a closet). For the money it wasnt worth it by any means. We called the front desk and were able to get a 'standard' room, which was much bigger(unfortunately a smoking room)and we ended up being happy with! AND THEN..later in the evening THE POWER WENT OUT for about 1/2hour,the lady at the front seemed very unfriendly about the whole situation. I gave it a two star just because I was happy with the location! Good luck if you choose to stay here..be prepared to sleep standng up!

great location but low quality hotel for the price.

The room was super small, I had to turn sideways to fit between the bed and the TV Stand. Also the room really had an unpleasant odor. I went back downstairs and discussed this with the staff but they could only offer a larger room for an additional fee. They were not friendly about it at all.

We were in Chicago to see a Cubs game. Wrigley is only 2 miles away, great location. If weather's nice you can raise windows in room (we did) and enjoy the hustle & bustle of the street scene (we enjoyed it). There was a nice complimentary continental breakfast provided in a tastefully appointed room. The hotel was clean. Not much to look at on the outside, but old and quaint on the inside. Within short walking distance of several bars & restaurants, most notably, Lou Maltani's pizza, for arguably the best Chicago style, deep dish pizza in the city. If it's crowded (usually is) there can be a long (2 hour!) wait. We ordered pizza to go, went next door to the Grand Central Station bar and had a beer and enjoyed the live music while we waited (40 minutes) for our pizza. A delightful evening! Across the street from the hotel is a Walgreens and a Panera bread location which is convenient.

When we first checked in the room they gave us was very small, the bathroom door didn't even open up all the way. Also the room was right in the stairway, a very noisy stairway, and the room was very dated and in need of lots of TLC. But we went to the desk and they upgraded us to a larger, more updated room, without charge.

I booked this room at the last minute when we picked up tickets to the an extra Cubs game and my regular Wrigleyville hotel was sold out. The front desk was more than accomodating, and far more friendly and helpful than where I usually stay. Also, I was unaware of how convenient their parking accomodations were, which is a huge benefit in this area. Yes, the room was a bit small, but considering how little time is spent there on a Cubs trip it really didn't matter too much. I did book the room with a double bed thinking value over comfort, but next time I will book for a queen (which would hopefully mean a slightly bigger room).

When we arrived, the receptionist did not greet us. When we told her where we had to park she said she wasn't sure how safe that garage was (we had to prepay parking there). The receptionist did not know where our room was to give us directions. The receptionist did give us information we asked for to order a pizza but I later found out she got some sort of referral perk from the pizzeria. Breakfast was not impressive. Room was tiny. Blanket was worn out. I did like the older atmosphere and quaint feeling and the security entrance.

This hotel was in a great location. The Chicago Marathon went right past the hotel so this provided free entertainment. There were several restaurants, businesses, and stores wihin walking distance. The bus line was a couple of blocks away. We took the bus to Michigan Ave twice. For $2.00 each way it was an inexpensive way to get downtown. The rooms were small and older. We were able to get a rollaway bed. The staff was very helpful. I'd stay here again.

This was our first stay in the Chicago/Lincoln Park area. We loved the location - close to lots of food and some shopping. Our room was pretty large, with a small nook which contained a desk, fridge, and microwave. The fridge was definitely a nice thing to have in the room. The bathroom was small - the door could not be fully opened or it would hit the toilet - but clean. The window outside was very small and BADLY needed cleaning. The continental breakfast was also nice, with lots of selection and it saved us from having to purchase another meal. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location and marvelous staff. Somewhat like an old forgotten European small hotel, which lends a lot to its charm.

This hotel is old, you have to realize that before you check in. The staff was helpful with directions (but I knew for the most part where everything was). The location was ok, but not close to the major transit. It's not exactly in Lincoln Park, a little north of the actual Lincoln Park area. We weren't able to control our own heat, so the room did get hot. This is part of staying in an old hotel. Also, parking may be an issue, the lot was small. In all it wasn't a bad place to stay. We were able to get around, and they served a breakfast as part of the room cost which is nice.

I was disapointed with the room. It was so small the bed was right the when you opened the door. It looked like it would be a closet.

The room was totally fine but none of the Hotel guests had keys for 3 days (the key machine was not functionning!). Each time, we had to ask someone at the front desk to have the room opened. And wait for them to get to your room, and the staff really seemed to be annoyed and some of them not that friendly..... Light bubls needed to be changed, same with the batteries in the TV remote... Big +, a lot of towels in the bathroom. Perfect hotel if you only need a place to sleep, the area is perfect, between Lake View and Lincoln Park. There's a bus stop just down the street, and you're 10 minutes from shopping and museums, 1 mile from Wrigleyville. Starbucks next to the hotel, Panera (yummy sandwiches and pastries)across the street, a plenty of cool shops within walking distance.

?The Inn at Lincoln Park is in need of major remodeling. The A/c in the rooms were window box models (VERY old, hardly worked & needed to be replaced). The electrical outlets throughout the room were insufficient (EX. You could NOT plug in the refrigerator or the microwave due to the A/c & lack of available outlets.) These appliances were unusable for the duration of the stay due to the HOT temperatures in the room & need to keep the A/c on continuously. The elevator is the size of a small box & cramp. The bathroom was VERY outdated & HOT. Luckily we only had to use the room to sleep & shower & were gone the remainder of the time. If our trip had been any longer, we would have moved to different accommodations. The hotel itself could become very nice with it's location if the room were brought from the 1900's into the 21st century.? TIP: If you are looking for accommodations with no extra amenities in the room, this is the place. If you are looking for a room with modern amenities & comfort. KEEP LOOKING....

The Inn at Linclon Park is very convenient but the room we stayed in was extremely small, old bed & piloows, the bed was jammed in so that the walls were right up against you- not pleasant at all.

The staff was fast and friendly upon check-in, but after that it was a little dissapointing. The hotel is older, which I knew going in, but I think it is need of an update. The beds were rock hard, and the window a/c unit couldn't cool off a room half the size. Day one and the bathtub would not drain. No one had come to the room to fix the problem despite two seperate requests by the time of check-out. Some bright spots were the friendly, however unresponsive staff, the location, which is in the heart of Lincoln Park, and the on-site parking which truly was a bargain for chicago. If you can't find a deal at one of the newer, brand name hotels, or if a Loop/Mag mile location is unavailable, then and only then would I recommend this place. You could always shower at the Y.

Rooms were tiny, no desk or table space at all. Good location but it was like going back in time because the rooms were so small and outdated.
