The Inn at Avila Beach is a unique Beach House-style Inn which mixes the best elements of Mexico and the Mediterranean, all within steps of the beach and 8 miles from historic San Luis Obispo. This location is approximately 10 miles from San Luis Obispo Airport and 18 miles from Morro Bay.

The inn is meant to be a fun beach house so there are lots of areas and getaways. The Rooftop/Sundeck has 180 degree views of the ocean and the beautiful California Central Coast. The roof has three living room areas, wet bars, refrigerator, microwaves, and TVs/VCRs. There is also a Hospitality bar with an ice machine, two gas grills, and hammocks. The Great Room has both a media room and dining table. It's perfect for family gatherings, meetings or just getting the coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate that we serve all day. The Library has lots of great table top books, magazines, owners' fossil collections, folk art and a movie library. Finally, the Lobby is part gift shop/museum. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas. There's also a guest computer with high-speed DSL access.

All the Inn at Avila Rooms have the same great amenities including large hooded bathrobes, microwaves with popcorn, refrigerators with bottled water for your convenience, 27 inch TV and VCRs, coffee makers, extra pillows and blankets, hair dryers, clock radios and giant fluffy bath sheets. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.

The following questions have been answered for you by Inn at Avila Beach...

What are your breakfast options?: There is a coffee shop called Joe Momma's on the next corner, a short distance from the inn. It will give you 10% off in any of their goodies and coffee if you mention you're staying with us for a full breakfast. You can also walk down a block to the Old Custom House restaurant with menu starting at $9.00. We also recommend Fat Cats diner over at the port about a mile away and they serve breakfast/lunch/dinner and gives our guests 10% off. Their menu starts at $9.00. Hours of operation for the Custom house is (breakfast) 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and Fat Cats serves breakfast all day.
What transport is available to get around?: We do not offer any shuttle service. Driving is the way you will be getting to Avila Beach.
Do you have internet?: We do have a Wi-Fi signal on property but it does not reach all of the rooms. But we do have a guest computer at the front desk available from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Also, we have a cozy guest lounge where the Wi-Fi reception is better if you were to bring your laptop down to this area. It is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Do you provide parking?: Parking is available on the property.
How do I get there?: As for directions, if you are heading south on highway 101, you will want to take the Avila Beach Dr. Exit. At the end of that off ramp, you will turn right onto Avila Beach Dr. Heading west, then you will proceed west on Avila Beach Dr. for about three miles. When you reach Avila Beach, make the first left turn into a town which is the San Luis St. Just follow it all the way to the ocean/beach and you will then turn left on Front St. and we will be right there at 256 Front St. Avila Beach ca. 93424. If you were to be heading north on highway 101, you would once again take the Avila Beach Dr. exit, but on the northbound exit, you will automatically be heading west on Avila Beach Dr. So just proceed west and follow the directions on the previous (south bound) directions.
