First room, didnt have a TV. When brought to attention of hotel staff, they said we needed to wait 25-30 for a TV as opposed to putting us in a new room, they claimed they didnt have any ocean view rooms, when all the rooms are ocean view. After asking again, they moved us to a seperate room, that smelled like mold, didnt have fridge, microwave or hair dryer as advertised. The patio sliding door was broke, toilet paper holder was broke off the wall and the TV was on the verge of dying. This was not a full-service hotel nor did it offer anything it advertised on their website. Hotel staff was not caring or understaffing, they acted inconvenienced and careless.

We were very pleased with the hotel. Internet booking is always chancy but we wanted to be on the beach and we wanted a long stay, so the price was right. If you are expecting plush new carpet and lots of amenities for this price, you are probably living in fantasyland. If you want a clean room with a Gorgeous ocean view, access to the beach right outside the back door, quiet rooms with a family atmosphere--this is your place. Somewhere on the website, it suggested that this was the way Florida used to be--that's exactly what it is. An older part of town that is not all jammed with condos and traffic--that's all up the beach a few miles if you want it. We thought it was great and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here during the Coke Zero 400 for $250.00/night. This place is a total dump, what a rip off. The pictures on orbitz are totally misleading. I'm suprised its allowed to remain open. Its old and extremely dirty with an unhappy staff. Our ceiling leaked on the second bed (we were on floor 3 of like 12), they only gave us decaf coffee, there were no towes in the room, the bedding had cigarette burns and the list goes on and on. If everything in town wasn't already booked we would have moved. Staying here ruined our entire weekend getaway. For $250.00/night I expected much more!

We really enjoyed our stay. Keeping a facility clean is important to me. During our entire stay we always seen the staff cleaning. The staff was friendly and kind. The only downfall was that there was a problem with the pool and we couldn't use it for 2 days. I was very impressed on the 2d day though when after many complaints, we were allowed to go to Daytona Water Park and the hotel paid the bill. There are not many places that would go out of there way to accomidate you like that. I would recommend though that you have a car. There are very few places to eat in walking distance.

The hotel could become a wonderful place to stay because of its location. Although we were told we could check in early, when we arrived, the room was not ready; we had no problem with that. When we finally checked in, there were no pillow cases on the pillows, I made 14 phone calls requesting the things that should have been in the room but were not. Finally, I wound up making 4 trips downstairs to where the supplies were kept to get what I needed. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel and would probably stay there again.

Dirty, broken curtain that did not closes, no action when reported. Would not stay there again. Service was poor, forgot to have coffee in room, forgot cream & sugar when they remember coffee. Overall, not a good experience.

My boyfriend, his daughter and I stayed at Inn on the Beach for 10 days. I would definately recommend this motel/hotel to anyone wanting a great view of Daytona Beach. We could walk from our room right to the beach. The staff was very accomendating and very courteous. Next time we are in Florida, which may be during bike week, we will be staying at the Inn on the Beach again.

The line for both check-in and out was lengthy. Our first room was minimally defined as an efficiency. We had to change rooms due to issues with the door lock. Our 2nd room was very nice, with a full kitchen (no dishes or utensils, etc.) Location on the beach was great. We didn't use the pool, but the pool area was very nice.

Our stay at his hotel was horrible! The rooms were small, the sink leaked soaking all our toiletries and we had sattlelite television so when it rained the channels went out. It was suppose to be a romantic getaway but it was a weekend from hell!

Hotel was clean, looked just like picture on internet,staff very friendly, pool clean.I took my grandson to Disney while we were there. We rode 4 wheelers on the beach, played in ocean, pool,We went up to Speedway and rode go-carts, stopped in St. Augustine on the way home and went to the Alligator Farm. In the words of my grandson (age 7) THIS WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER !!!!!!

No coffee kit in the room, coffee downstairs 24 hours. Room quality is terrible. Mattresses are back-killing. Sliding balcony door does not close to the end and make terrible sound when closing or opening. Not enough toilet paper and shampoo. The pool is great, jacuzzi is OK.

This was our second stay in a year and we always leave refreshed and satisfied with our stay. My grandaughter was fearful of the ocean but made herself quite to home at the pool which was very clean.
