I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday but because of work we couldn'd go far so I picked Ruidoso because of the proximity to where we live. My first choice hotel was the Inn of the Mountain Gods because of the casino. I knew my boyfriends was going to like to hit the Craps tables. I had asked to have a bottle of champagne some chocolate covered strawberries, scented candles, and rose petals all over the place. To my surprise the room was decorated even better than expected sinc ethey took the time to make a heart out of rose petals and put the chocolate covered straberries in the center. My boyfriend was surprised and it really got him in the mood to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend. I couldn't have asked for more... :)

Nothing. Staff Members/ check in time. This was the worst hotel I have stayed in and I stayed in hotel lest 1 or more a month. The staff member were rude. Wouldn't let us check in until 5pm, we had been there since 11am, informed them we were there and that we knew check in was at 3 but we be back to have our room but still didn't get one until after 5. The shower head was broke. For the cost of the hotel it was not worth it. Didn't wast your money.

It had been several years since I had visited the Inn of the Mountain Gods. The renovation done to the place and the service will make sure I will frequent this place more often.

we went for our anniversary and it was the best!the staff was very friendly and welcomed us with great details on the location of everything they had. our room was huge with a great scenery of snowy mountain tops. bathroom was big and the vanity area was big enough for both me and my husband to get ready with lots of space. restaurants were downstairs and we had more than one option on where to eat. the lobby was very relaxing with a nice warm fireplace burning. and for entertainment a casino right downstairs with beverages to drink while you gamble. the fitness room and swimming area was very nice the hot tub was very relaxing and the pool was very big and very well kept for the whole area. even locker rooms for your belongings to be kept. great place!!!

I liked the locating very much and the view from our room. The restaurants were too expensive. Inn of the Mountain Gods is a very attractive hotel for all types of persons: young, mature, single, married, with or without children.

Liked it all. The lake view room (superior king) and balcony was worth the extra money for at least the first trip - especially with wine at sunset or room service breakfast in the morning. The dining including room service offers very good variety and quality at reasonable prices. The casino was small by Vegas standards, but still active, and very friendly. The entire staff was helpful and friendly through out the hotel, casino, golf course, and front desk. The golf course is nice, well kept, pretty mountain and lake views. Step back to the back tees if you want a real challenge. You'll find some narrow fairways from back there! There is also a trail walk along the lake and other unusual activities we didn't try like skeet shooting.

The Inn of the Mountain Gods was a great place to stay. The room smelled very strong of smoke. I guess the guest in the room the night before smoked in it, it was very strong in the bathroom. We were so tired we did not report it to anyone. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay. The casino slots were very tight, I guess the ones we played were. We did enjoy the place. The room was a non smoking room but it smelled very strong of smoke.

Gorgeous location and fabulous facilities. No alcoholic drinks on the casino floor, only in the sports bar. Featuring award winning fine dining with a view of the lake and mountains, a complete casino, comfy rooms and a basement swimming pool with a mood-lighted grotto whirlpool and waterfall, Inn of the Mountain Gods has it all. I remember the resort being great 20 years ago but the new one is fantastic. Wish we had stayed longer and had time to play the golf course, one of the best in the state.

The Inn of the Moountain Gods Resort & Casino was very nice.It had a beatiful view from the balcony. It had a large room, with a nice big tv in the room, a seperate make-up vanity, from the bathroom. The bathroom was really nice and fancy, marble countertop. The room had 2 phones in it, that had a welcome message on it.The motel is in the mountains with a great view of Sierra Blanca Mountain.

Inn of the Mountain Gods is such a beautiful hotel/casino. We celebrated our 35th anniversary and it was the perfect place. Nestled in the mountains in gives the romance we wsere looking for. We also enjoyed the casino games as well as the pool, sauna and hot tub. Great Experience. Highly recommended!
