Wonderful hotel on the ocean. Perfect location near Laguna Beach and shops. Quaint rooms. Well kept small pool. Fanatastic views from room. Can wake up to sound of the ocean. Will stay there again. Love it!!!!!!!!

Although our reservation was for an oceanview King with sleeper sofa, we were given a tiny room that just had enough room for the bed, bedside tables, an armoire to hold the TV, and a tiny table against the wall. There was no place to sit except on the bed, and there were no windows other than the sliding glass doors to the small balcony. The hotel appeared to be full, and we were too tired after driving down to see about moving to a bigger room. The next day we asked about a room with a sleeper sofa, and the staff promptly and courteously offered us another room. In addition to being much larger, the bathroom also had a tub (unlike the first room). The view from both rooms was lovely, but we were able to leave a window open at night and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean in the second room.

The beds are wonderful. I love the bowl of apples in the lobby. Great artwork in the hallways. Though there is no restaurant in the hotel, they sell wine in the lobby and they have an delicious continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning.

We stayed here with friends from Australia on their way back to LAX. Laguna Beach was a highlight of their trip. They loved the hotel, the beach and local dining. They have since emailed and asked to stay here again before flying home on their next trip.

We arrived very late and were greeted warmly. Breakfast daily in our room was a great way to start the day. We were within walking distance to the shops and downtown and the city beach is right there. Everyone at the hotel were very helpful and kind. Our room was very clean and the hotel was quiet. We just can't say enough about this great place. Would definitely stay there again.
