The room was not very clean with dirty carpet. The toilet did not flush without adding extra water to the tank with the ice bucket. The bed springs were exposed when I examined the mattress. As members of a national known musical group was I was aghast with the conditions. The cafe was open only a few hours during the day which serviced cold food on the breakfast buffet. Lastly, the hotel did not accept credit cards. It was a cash only venture. In a world of technology, there was no internet service!

Location to the event in which we were attending. Pool was not open due to employee not showing for work. Overall, we were impressed. Location was great to the event in which we were there for. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. We will revisit. Disappointed about the pool not being staffed, paid for a pool side room and couldn't use it! No nintendo and was advised that that was a misrepresentation on the add.

I went to this hotel in July 2008 to attend a Police convention that was held there in the adjacent building. I have never in my life stayed at such a terrible hotel. Several weeks before we arrived, I was contacted by the show host who said he was checking our reservation becasue he had found out there were some "issues" with the new owners of the property (Kronoshotels.com). We then called directly and found out that in fact our reservation had been fouled up. With that corrected, I asked the gentleman I spoke with about the hotel and amenities. He bragged that they were getting all new bedding and it would be installed by the time we arrived. Ha ha ha... Well, one of our rooms looked like a crime scene. Really. The rug smelled of something foul in the corridor, none of the ouside "secure" doors locked, No internet, No pool (looked like "milk"), the fitness center had non-working equipment, No lounge, the restaurant was only open for breakfast and closed at 9:00 AM (yes, I said 9;00 AM, and 10:00 AM on the weekend). When I brought our complaints to the "corporate" guy on premise "Gus", he said that the hotel did not advertise these ameneties and tried to belittle me and my complaints. He did comp us one night (we were there for four), I wish I had found the Marriott out back next to the convention center. I would have gladly paid more to stay ANYWHERE. Furthermore, I also observed this same "Gus" yell at another customer and seriously questioned the decision of the convention host for us to stay there. Well, never again!

None. A lot. When we arrived, the front desk told us that the only a smoking room is available. I requested for other options since I had my 2 yr old son and wife with me. Front desk did not offer any assistance except only to say that the hotel was fully booked. It was already late at night and we were very tired, my son was cranky after 8 hrs. On the road, so it left us with no other choice. The room smelled really bad, we can hear loud noises from other guests at the adjacent patio and banging doors from the entry doors. To make matters worse, our ac was not working! I practically begged front desk again but to no avail. The only recourse he offered was lent us their desk fan to at least last us through the night. We left as soon as the sun rose, with my two year old son having a runny nose. My wife and I barely had any sleep. I think we deserved better service.

I traveled to Louisville on business, we have a traditional hotel that we stay in that was booked. I personally went through 3 rooms, one that was occupied by another person, and another that was filthy. To endure the night we made a trip to the local pharmacy and purchased Lysol, and personal pillows for the bed. It was one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed in. The sad part was that the cost was the same as other, better hotels that I have stayed in Louisville. Security was lax at best, staff (before talking to the manager) was rude, and the entire place was disgusting. If you can find another hotel, do so, even if it requires a longer drive. Or rent a mini van and sleep in it instead.

It was cheap and my room was clean. The common areas look very used and abused. They need to remodel and replace the old. This hotel was a 3+ star hotel, now it is like a super 8. It was clean, but much worn around the edges. For the price I paid, I got what I paid for.

Room was ready when we arrived, front desk clerk was very friendly and the whole check in was fast.Had a nice double room was clean and situated on the main floor. The conference area was nice and organized. The only draw back that I ran into was there were no ashtrays in a smoking room..but that was just minor.Basically a nice stay and would stay again...

It was a place to sleep. Old, dated, and unclean. By far the worst clarion hotel I have ever stayed at.

We arrived at 11:30 and the room wasn't ready, no problem, but when we came back at check in, the room wouldn't be ready for another hour...4pm. Received no compensation for the inconvenience. Dirty hotel, fuzzy cable, not a secure building, poor customer service.

Location Needs some talc-minor, but needed A/c unit was old and worn out. Front was coming off unit and each time the compressor kicked in it vibrated far too much to sleep well. It also did not put much air out into the room. Other than that, the room was fine, bed was comfortable and personnel helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel for single or family.

Hotel desk gave us a room that in far upper corner, a long way from restaurant even though hotel was nearly empty. Had to buy breakfast, but it was a great buffet for the price. Room was clean and comfortable.

Location. Old hotel; not well maintained. Basic features weren't working. Poorly maintained rooms; I asked for change of room as I has non-smoking room was smelling smoke and shower wasn't working. The new room I got had even more issues; bathtub clog, sink not working; shower knob reversed (indicated hot water tap giving out cold water and vice versa).

"Upon check in we were ""greeted"" by a not so nice clerk. We were told that we should have reserved earlier to get a better room. We reserved 2 months ahead. We did not get what we reserved and were told ""too bad"". The hotel was old but wouldn't have been so bad had it been cleaner. Pool was cold. Halls were dark. Room smelled musty. Would not stay there again!"

Large room. Parking lot in need of replacement. Hallways had an odor. Average and equal to the rating of two stars.

"Great indoor pool, good sized rooms, clean and great price. Best bang for the buck"

The room was spacious enough for me plus three teenage boys. Night clerk didn't say much, although check-in was very smooth and easy. Nice clean large room, plenty of towels for me and three boys. Pool is open very limited hours only when a lifeguard is present. We didn't use many of the hotel facilities, but everything appeared to be very easy to find and accessible from anywhere in the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My room location was quite and peaceful. Check in was slow. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. All spaces seemed neat, clean and orderly. I only had the breakfast buffet. The food was good but not as hot as it should have been. The server was helpful and went out of her way to please.

"We were very pleased with the room-it was large, comfortable and clean. The staff was very good and helpful. The free breakfast was great. We enjoyed our visit very much and would return there."

It was close to an event I wanted to attend. Housekeeping did a lousy job during my whole stay. Dirty carpet in room housekeeping didn't vacuum, I reported this to the hotel staff & they did nothing to rectify the situation. And I was told upon checkout they could not give me some kind of compensation because I booked online. I am very disappointed with the hotel. And I am disappointed with your service I don't intend to use your service again or stay at this hotel ever again.
