Room was small.

Hotel was about 4-5 miles from the airport. Very easy to get to airport. Could actually see it from our room window. Requested a water view when checking in, and a king bed. Both of which were accomodated at no additional charge. Staff seemed nice, although somewhat inexperienced. No ramp to get into hotel lobby; just steps. We had a lot of bags, because we had been away for 2 weeks, and had been on a cruise. We had to drive around to the side of the hotel, and go into a basement garage/workshop area. From there, we would get a luggage cart and reach the elevators. They are supposed to get a handicap ramp soon (they said) for the front of the hotel. Lobby is austere, as the hotel used to be an apartment building. Very small, and no amenities. Just a couple couches. All in all, It was an okay visit. No major problems. They look like they are a work in progress.

Friendly staff, good location, accommodating. Housekeepers did not vacuum. Great hotel overall.

We arrived the hotel around 2 AM, the front staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is only 2-3 miles from the airport and located in an ok neighborhood. However, we're so disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. After start unpacking our stuff we just found that: 1) The hotel definitely did not clean the room very well. The bed sheets were really STINK and one of the pillow had stains 2) The restroom was dirty - the flusher had some disgusting stain We had to leave early in the morning so we wrote our complaint to the hotel after we returned. It has been 2 months since the letter was sent but no responses yet. Unfortunately, this hotel is located in not a bad location but I won't stay or recommend any one to this hotel again because of this experience.

Location. The hotel was dirty, the maids did not respond to request for extra towels. I will not recommend or stay at this hotel again. The rooms are small and dirty. Housekeeping did not respond to a request for extra towels. This hotel has no ammenities (in-room movies, complimentary continental breakfast, etc).

"We stayed at the Inlet Tower after our cruise we were not impressed the room was not very clean old used coffee grounds in the coffee pot room smelled bad the decor need inprovement, didn't care for the onsite resturant very pricey. Don't thing we would stay again."

The grounds were well kept and front desk friendly. Hotel rooms not clean enough and not 3 star quality like I expected with the upgrade given to me. The hotel is nice and clean on the outside and the lobby is small but clean. The room I had was not very desirable when I was upgraded to a 3 star. It was small and dingy and the bathroom wasn't very clean nor was the carpet in appearance. The corner rooms were to close to each other and you can hear the next rooms conversations and TV.

"They offer shuttle services to the hotel, but we had to wait 30 minutes in the rain at 12:30 in the morning our ride. The windows are thin and do not block any noise from outside. The room was tiny as well as the bathroom. The hotel is about 8 blocks from downtown, so if you don't have a car it can be a lot of walking. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was very expensive for what we got."

The customer service was bad, elevators were very slow, I had to call them for clean towels cause they forgot to clean our room, old hotel.

"Don?t be deceived by the photos on the web site - this place is a dump. Rooms were left over from the 1950's and smelt stale. Hotel lobby was dark even in the middle of the day. Front desk was rude and unhelpful. Is it too much to ask for change for a dollar so that we could do our laundry? Apparently, at this hotel it is. The restaurant - it took 40 minutes to get a toasted bagel! There are plenty of hotels in the area that will pick you up from the airport - so stay with someone else."

The decor. Did not have a 24-hour shuttle as described. Too far from airport. The hotel itself was nice - cute decor, clean. I wished it was closer to the airport and they did not have a 24-hour shuttle as advertise - I had to take a cab to and from the airport with my small children (the hotel paid for the cab). I would not have stayed there if I had known they did not have a shuttle.

"I was so surprised, the outside is pretty normal for Anchorage, but the inside is to die for!!! Everything has been remodeled. My room had beautiful new furniture; the staff was so friendly & helpful. The food in the restaurant is so unique; I want to come back just to eat!!! I will defiantly stay again! Great job!!!"

The kitchenette was nice, the flow of the room was good. We bought cleaner so we could use the tub, big wet spot by the window. Because of the bathtub condition I can not give a great review. There were no washcloths in our room, we used rags from the maids cart. Also the large wet spot under the window was strange. The room needs to be updated some. But the staff at the desk was very nice and professional.

My 2nd stay. Much better than 1st. Room did not have a bureau but I made do! Bathroom a bit small but okay. Price was good. Service much better. If only they had room service!

Location, clean room. Very small and old bathroom, awkward setup. Nice for the money during this time of year, room was bright.

I have a very spacious suite. comfortable. The entry way both inside and outside had a series of stairs. Very nice place, comforatable and upscale. I was a business traveler so worked out just fine. I would not recommend this as a family friendly place. Check in was slow. The room and the veiws were great.

The bathroom was too small and the tub was hard to get into.

Airport transfer was easy at 1 AM. Tiny lobby and limited food services. Good for business traveler or 1 to 2 nights stay. Due to amenities would not longer stays. Clean and staff was very friendly.

Free parking, quiet, adequate exercise room. Slow elevator. Very happy to stay at the Inlet whenever we stayed in Anchorage, convenient, free parking, quiet neighborhood, clean rooms, fairly good cable TV.
