Our visit to Indian Head Resort was a much -needed getaway for our family. We hadn?t been here for a few years and I have to say I was very impressed with the improvements the management has made to the main building and rooms. The lobby has had a makeover with big comfy chairs and couches, a fireplace and even a computer station for guests to use. The rooms were very satisfactory, nice and clean, very comfortable beds with what looked like new linens, but by far the best feature for me was the 50? HDTV in the room. It was great to send mom and the kids off to the pools and game room while I kicked back and watched the Red Sox. We took the meal plan that included meals for the kids at no additional charge. The food was good, the service friendly and the 2 kids liked having their own special menu to order from. We have always liked the fishing and paddleboating on the lake and it?s nice that no license is required to fish in the private lake. We only stayed 2 nights, everyone agreed we could have used another 2 and we will definitely come back for more! Really, the only down side for us was that they do not allow pets, our beloved dog had to stay home with a babysitter ? wah!

We had never stayed at Indian Head before but had heard such great things about it from friends who have stayed there. We love how we can "get away from it all" at a place that isn't too far from home, yet far enough away that we feel like we're in a whole new place. We loved paddleboating on Shadow Lake and the outdoor pool and hot tub. They have a great restaurant and lounge with entertainment, so you don't need to leave the resort to have a good time. The staff was so helpful and made us feel really welcome and most of the people we met there were repeat guests that couldn't stop raving about the place. Room was clean and comfortable and we got to stay in one of the rooms with the new 50" Plasma HDTV's, which was awesome! We will be back and will tell our friends and family to come stay up there. we had such a great time on our mini vacation! this was our first time at indian head and we had heard so many good things about it that we had to go and check it out ourselves. i love how you can drive half an hour away and end up in what seems like another world. the views from the resort are incredible and actually seeing the indian head rock profile was so amazing. we loved being able to use the paddleboats on shadow lake, and swim and use the hot tub. we loved the food so much that we ended up getting the meal plan, which is such a good deal! we didn't even need to leave the resort to try to find a restaurant. it was great having a lounge on premise with live entertainment. we will definitely be back once all the attractions open up, because the resort is really close to everything we want to do. kudos to the staff too! they made us feel really welcome. we will recommend indian head to everyone. THANK YOU!

We had a dinner in the Indian Head Resort Hotel on 27th and I was greatly Impressed by the hospitality of the serving person in restaurent MS XXX (If I spell correctly) She even provided with very valuable information about the place to us ,And offcourse she has been so polite and sweet to help us to choose out food .I think she is working great job there . I think a pleasent personality and dynamic personality as hers should be the Manager over there. I wish She gets promotion faster and becomes the Manager there then there will be great improvement in te performance of the Hotel .I wish I can get the contact of her I want to wish her thanks personally for the good job she is doing .Great Keep it UP !!! I was told that the accomodations were "rustic cabins", but my family has stayed in "rustic cabins" all over the country, and those we loved. These were Disgusting, Neglected, Musty, Moldy , FLAT OUT DIRTY , old ROTTING cottages! The bathroom floor was rotting beneth the STAPLED TOGETHER vinyl "floor covering" - and I use that term generously! The dirt in the room showed that they just didn't care. The glass light sconces and window seals had 1/4 inch thick dust so thick and so old, that it had become permanent. Their wasn't any insulation and the wind blew through the windows until I used the towels to plug all the holes. The sheets seemed clean though. Who knows about the blankets.
